I recommend Unfettered 3, since there is a WoT short story in it. (It´s a chapter that never made it into AMoL.) There are also a lot of other short stories that I haven´t read yet, among them one of Jason Denzel.

Recommended books...you can check out the Marcus Didus Falco series by Lindsey Davis. They are mysteries set in Rome around 70 AD if I recall. I greatly enjoyed them.
