But when I got into the game I think it was IT at 3 and BFG at 2. Hallia voted Zander before BFG voted Nyn, so I guess there’s something to chew on wrt BFG not putting the lead wagon further ahead. If BFG or Hallia flips red though then I think it looks bad for the other. Neither voted Tear and Hallia didn’t vote BFG. Need to see where they were at with each other.

She might but I think BFG is aware enough to know not to vote with someone's scum reading?  Like, 90% of her interactions in the thread have been with or about Chris who she was sussing.  That'd look pretty terrible if she jumps in thread, takes her vote of Chris and moves it to the person Chris is voting and they flip town for no real reason?  Like i said, if somehow wagons became tied, I can see her jumping on Illian, but...I really don't think she'd vote WITH Chris there just to hammer a mislynch she doesn't need to hammer.  like ever.

Bold is probably the key here.  It's not that she was just suspicious of me - it's that she had been on me consistently since pretty much the start of the game, and she's done minimal exploration outside of that.  Prior to a few hours ago, I think the only reads she gave were Kat and me.  Voting Illian unnecessarily wasn't going to do Mafia!BFG any favors.

 

If she needed it for her own survival, that's a different story.

She feels kind of alone?  I mean, BFG could have been distancing from Nyn, but I don't think she pushes Nyn to two votes when she's a counter wagon and we know Illian's town.  So I think Nyn/BFG is less likely.  Zander has been pushing Nyn in like 70% of his scum teams so I don't think Nyn is probably teamed there.  I don't think Nyn is teamed with WiFi mostly based on her confusing comment on "I think Nyn subtly suggesting that she's scum and giving up, so we should totally vote her here"  I'd have to look at like Iron/Nyn or Dice/Nyn as options.

I wish she had talked about Illian more - given how early she started having doubts about me, I'm surprised she was feeling positive about somebody that townread me pretty strongly from the beginning of the game.  I'm embarrassed to admit I almost asked her what her thoughts on him right now are

 

That would be a really weird distancing spot for BFG.  I can't imagine she thinks Nyn is likely to go the distance, so trying to spew her clear is ???

The only part of this I'd really disagree with is ruling out Zander/Nyn, based on the fact he's been naming her.  Zander is a notoriously hard busser and has had scumgames where he's spent more time pushing his teammates than the entirety of town.  He's gotten better about it - he mostly avoided discussing him teammate in that one game I played with him, and I did brutally threaten him when we were teammates - but he's absolutely not going to shy away from naming his teammates as potential mafia, especially if it's somebody that isn't getting much towncred.

 

I don't think he's ever teamed with BFG, and he's probably not with Hallia, but I think that has more to do with her -> than <- him.

Yeah...and it seemed like she was trying to maybe get Zander to move there, too by asking what Zander's read was on her?  I won't say that she tried to get Nyn lynched...but...I'm not prepared to say she didn't put Nyn at a fair bit of risk given how close the wagons were.

Part of me feels really bad if BFG is this busy and rolled scum again. But wincons

 

i sort of want to sit on it for a bit and evaluate more. I don’t really feel great about Nyn in particular and I agree that I don’t see w/w equity there so that’s a pairing I feel is worth fleshing out. Like I *get* the reason for BFG’s vote I’m just unimpressed by it.

That's fair...I guess I do remember Sooh mentioning that about Zander being a busser.  I also had Zander/Nyn as a possible team early in the game (again, no idea what specifically i was thinking when i said that)...so I'm fine leaving that open for now.

Probably not.  I think he's tunneling BFG over the ~wrong reasons, but there's a pretty decent chance he's right about her anyway, and his reaction to me isn't really any different than how he's handled Cory before when he was wrong.  Or probably me, if I've ever been wrong before in a mafia game.

Hallias push on me wasnt going against the thread im pretty sure i was tied as lead wagon atp...Chris and someone else was voting me and Wifi had me as her 2nd Scum.  I could def see a world where Scum!Hallia sees Any!Alignment!Chris voting me and finding a weak reason to follow suit...the for now at the end of the vote just feels like a different way of spelling fencesitting....

 

I can also see a world where Town!Hallias super busy and super cranky and not fully paying attention and just seeing something that she thought was off and going after me to i suppose, just really feel its more likely the former because i know how good Hallia is.

 

It's against the grain for me, lead wagon of what...one person??  Maybe two?  Not exactly a gigantic wagon, you seem to be over exaggerating a lot of stuff this game.

Maybe.  I'm not really sure tbh.  I think Hallia was really the only one sort of pushing there.  Chris pointed out some questionable things, and WiFi had him as her second highest scum read as a gut read but hasn't really done anything to push it.
