@dicetosser1 - I'm pondering.    That requires a lot of setup speculation, which is not entirely productive with Zander's brain in the mix  

 

As I see it, there are a couple of options.  N1 there were 3 kills - Nyn would have to be the mafia NK, and Marsh claimed the Kaylee kill as town vig, so that leaves the Blackhoof kill unclaimed.  Cory had a 1x vig ability, so either Cory shot Hoof, or there's a serial killer.

 

N2 we had only one death, and with Cory having a 1x BPV that means that he was hit twice - either both on N2, or there was a 4th shot N1 that shot off his vest.  If there were 4 shots N1, then Cory definitely had to have shot Hoof.  

 

Spitballing here what I think I'd do with a game like this.... I find it less likely that there were 4 shots N1 than somehow both shots hit Cory N2.  I wouldn't expect a survivor with a 1x vig AND a serial killer, personally, although Zander.  'nuff said.

 

So if both shots hit Cory N2, either AJ's ability redirected the shot to Cory, or there's a serial killer who aimed at Cory in addition to the mafia kill and AJ absorbed Marsh's shot somehow.

 

Gut is telling me that it's a redirect ability.  That may just be a holdover from The Stand, though.
