I’m leaning that way. Beads looks better enough that I’d slot him in as Town. I think my earlier reservation was that Socio was more “correct” in his defense, but through general presence and openness has me liking Beads independently more.

alright, I just really quickly skimmed the last ten or so pages, but it looks like a bunch of people want me to respond to Beads.

 

But first, I also saw a question or two about my mafia history.

This is my second internet mafia game, though I did read through Ragnarok. I don't play face-to-face much.

 

So, the reason Beads pinged me is that despite not really knowing much about anyone besides Marsh he made a whole bunch of reads based primarily off of fluff.

 

The post that everyone was focusing on was actually intended to be fluff.

I had plopped a question mark on Cory for his vote on me, and after he didn't answer it, I stated that I assumed it wasn't serious.

Then Nyn said that I shouldn't assume anything in what I took to be a joking way.

I responded to that in what I imagined as a similarly joking way.

For what it's worth, @TheSociopath, I later rescinded that. I'm not sure why you stuck out to me at first. I'm guessing it was just a general gut feeling/tone, since I didn't really have anything else. I'd still peg you as neutral, but I figure I don't have anything huge to lead me to believe you aren't town.

I reread the thread this morning and jotted down specific things that stuck outto me.  After that, I made my list, and tried to place the people that I didn't have any notes on and put words to my gut feelings.

 

Aggressive may not be the best description.  The impression I was left with though was that you jumped into question mode very quickly,  with very little fluff and a bit of persistence.

 

I put you in the mixed feeling part of the list mostly because I was still thinking about whether it felt specifically townie to me. Day 1 is short, so it's not a bad thing at all to be less fluffy.  *shrug*

Hmm. I'm not sure what I should do at this point. There's not a lot to go off of. I'm starting to develop some private theories, but it's impossible to really verify anything at this early stage.

I'm really not convinced by the anti-BardBabe arguments, so I feel bad about this, but I really don't know of another way to continue and possibly see who is who.

I have not problem with the Soc train and would be ok with switching, but Kay still doesn't feel right to me and I'm not happy with how half a dozen people sussed her and nobody voted on that. Neither of the two leading trains are overwhelmingly scummy IMO, not in the range where they should be drowning out all other potential trains

I got a little antsy when it took her a while to resurface. She said something about napping and coffee and then she went quietish for a while. I like her response overall. I know she is a nerve ball as scum. The only way I can see her pulling off that response as scum is if she has a good support system in her team.  We'll see if she can keep it up consistently as the games go on.

Pretty much where I’m at. The reads and all look good but I don’t think it’s like above her skill level at all to make that post as scum.

Irt Marsh, I liked his general attitude and responses. It's not based on much but he seemed pretty upfront about things and I appreciate that in people in general. The thing with Darthe and him.... Unsure if it means much atp. He mostly just sounded salty.

I’m back at work and overseeing a job that requires me to witness a lot of steps, so I’ll be outside probably until it’s time to come in and inventory. We usually wrap up in another hour, hour and half so I should be back before DL.
