yeah I've come around to it's probably fine you find it weird.

 

I don't have too many more concrete thoughts outside of what I've mentioned.

 

BFG and Sooh are both fairly low involved atm, which isn't a good look, but it's not late enough in the day phase for me to be overly concerned yet.

 

Krak and Tripped are fairly null as well.

Honestly the read I'm most comfortable with is Zander town, but I don't think I need to convince you on that.

Tripped is a really good Townie but I haven’t seen her scum before. My expectations are ~high because of that but it might not be fair either. I’m not bothered by her though.

 

I don’t mind the take on the other ladies. I’m curious about Sooh’s answer to my question.

Yes, I'm literally talking about #1-4 on the roster.  It's slot based, and I said I didn't care how it was selected.  

 

DPR has had maybe the strongest reaction to it, which fits his need to meddle too much as a wolf but isn't enough to warrant real suspicion.

 

Tripped is very cautious and methodical.  I'm liking them a lot so far.

 

Most others have been null or neutral at the least.

 

BFG is probably still a wolf here, unless Wes is.

Btw posts like this, especially the bold, were what gave you away last game.

 

Your reads can be perfect sometimes. You like you have legit reason here to SR DPR, but there’s no follow up.

In the same vein of thought though, why would he do it as scum? People change over time, whether it's availability or just mood swings, health or just experimenting. I find that altering meta itself seldom is alignment indicative on its own. Sure, it's interesting to note, but restricting people to have to play a certain way because that's how you know them best is just going to feel restrictive and not lead to good results for anyone. I'm still leaning town on Darthe.

You acknowledge that he acknowledged that he's thought about doing this for a while (which would have given him plenty of time to realize it benefits scum more than town, a point you recognized in less than a year...).

That was my exact point when I asked Darthe why he suggested focusing on 1 - 4 and then cleared 3 players out of 5 - 9. He suggested focus and then immediately (before anyone even answered) didn't focus. No follow up. Just sayin'.

I've noted the change, as you mention above, primarily because it's D1 and if Darthe wants to volunteer to stand under the spotlight, I'm inclined to accept. However, I need to point out that "restricting people to have to play a certain way" is an oddly heavy choice of words. I do think that ignoring Darthe while he's Darthing might also lead to bad results.

The "restricting people" part of that sentence was more a generic statement rather than applicable here. Sometimes Darthe Darthing is what leads me to read him though.

That's unfortunate then, because I make that post as town 10 times out of 10, just like above.

 

I've learned that I have to lead most villagers by the nose.  DPR stands out strongly to me, and I could case it sure, but no one would give that weight because most don't see it yet.  They'd see me "overreacting" and think my reasoning was flimsy.  That's what I've learned, slow burn things until it's so obvious that other people can almost case the player for you.

Not true. I've pointed out multiple reasons why his proposal benefits scum more than town (limits the discussion to fewer players, uses timing to shield certain players, creates a false narrative that there is "Day 1 chaos") and I speculate that this is a "go big or go home" plan.

 

I'm realistic about it - chances are high that it's just shenanigans. But I like to get everyone's view on it. 

 

I have trouble thinking Scum!Darthe does this and I feel like you being an experienced and very good player would have to at least think this too.

I'm just mirroring exactly what you're doing, but from a perspective that I know is town so that I can decide if you are laying down the reverse psychology as a trap, or if you are actually trying to pull something off for lulz. 

 

FWIW, I do have a hard time seeing you making this many mistakes in logic if you're skeemin. But, it would be brilliant if you were making those mistakes on purpose... I actually hope you are, lol.
