AJ, Pokemon is a big family thing for us. My son started it when he was 6 and then my wife joined, and finally I did and now it's a full-time obsession, lol. I'm not crazy about how Niantic operates and we never tried Ingress. Really just hoping they don't screw up Harry Potter!

 

Having said that, BG's catch is BADA** - he's walking around town right now all like "who's da man? I'm da man!"

Like to take a moment to respect the Mod. So much goes into building these games and then there is a lot of effort to run them. No one ever likes to see that work torn down, and no one ever likes having to discipline friends. But, it is sometimes necessary and Darthe handled it well.

I loved Pokémon as a kid. I got my first Gameboy Color (it was yellow) when the Yellow version came out and man, I poured hoursssss into that game lol

 

You should look into a game I’ve been playing a long time called QONQR. It’s GPS based but uses action Google Maps to create zones in real cities/neighborhoods/etc. You can play globally and anywhere you travel. It’s kind of fun taking over turf and ruling your city, to me anyway. For some the game gets boring because it’s not an instant gratification type. You’ve gotta put in the work to level up and take over areas.

If you start you’ll get to lvl 100 pretty fast but after that it takes literally years to hit 200. I finally did and I’ve been playing since 2014. It’s a good game for family/friends too. At its core it’s just a button-mashing grinder but it’s got a cool back story and some semblance of strategy when it comes to gameplay. The three different teams makes for interesting battlefield dynamics and every region is a little different with who is in control. Really not bad for a phone app.

I got a yellow special pickachu edition which had a blue back and pikachu in the corner of the screen.  It was my first handheld system.

 

I got my Pikachu to level 93.  It felt like it took forever to six year old me.  My cousin Josh asked if he could play and he saved a new file, and that Pikachu was gone.  I love my cousin, but when I see him I am a haunted man.

As a guy with a Psych degree I image you reflect on this and have realized it was one of those defining moments of your childhood that has shaped the adult you’ve become.

From a town perspective, I think Arie is a good bet, but Nyn's ultimatum has the feel of desperation which is worrisome.

FTR I highly doubt I'll be around at Deadline - but I will be around for the next ~4-6 hours.

 

I think we should go Arie -》 BG -》 take stock of who is left.  

 

I wish I could ISO AJ bc I from what I understand he has a compulsory gun he can gift but I didn't follow the rest of it.

 

I'm about 50/50 on DPR

 

With Kat I'm mostly just throwing up my hands.

 

I still feel reasonably well about AJ and Hallia, and EP.

 

In fact I'm pretty happy atm for 2 reasons:

1.  I'm playing mafia and I'm active (for me) and staying abreast of the thread

2. I just had the (probably) 2 best games of Ultimate of my young career with a couple of beautiful, long assists.

 

I don't usually talk about personal stuff but I'm pretty stoked atm.  This is a fun game guys, even with all of Darthe's mechanical turpitude.
