Because I agree with the sentiment that we should probably try to get as many votes as possible on a single person. Also, I've seen Nyn play more than DPR, so I feel more certain about her.

 

As for Hallia, it's primarily her low activity and lack of engaging.

I suppose there is that. Nyn and I have had a casual distant friendship and awkward family tree history that isn't centered around Mafia. I don't really see how that aspect is relevant to the game, aside the lack of a weigh in on that particular vote. 

 

I mean, Nyn often has -some- kind of opinion on something. So either she's avoiding a tell and giving us a tell in the process or she's just been too busy to really have a say - which this far into a game (117 pages, i mean.. thats a lot) seems odd to me. And as i'm not the first to say it, im inclined to agree and follow as I have even fewer tell reads with the rest of you. :P

Why Lenlo is a wolf (in my opinion):

 

1. Voting record. Consistently taking the path of least resistance without much or any interaction. I don’t remember if he was voting anyone before Ed.1 but he slid onto that wagon without explanation that I can remember. His spat with BG essentially boiled down to a policy lynch, which - while true to some extent - is an extremely low liability vote. The same with voting Duk3 in the Gladiator match for the Loki claim. All reasons good enough to lynch someone without coming out looking too dirty.

 

2. Tracker claim. It makes a lot of sense for scum to have a PR of that variety. The flavor and role don’t really fit either. Eir is a Valkyrie that sits atop a hill (a special one) in lore. However, there’s a demon wolf that plays a pretty big part in the whole end of the world thing that would fit. The detail about seeing his target’s target is probably true and initially made me TR him for it but everyone is buffed so I assume scum would be too. His interest in Shad’s role is probably not a lie - Shad’s been mum about it - but the results he’s given for N1 and N2 are predictably fakeable. Vetting Shad’s failed shot and Hallia’s RB after the fact it was revealed is pretty safe too.

 

3. Game impact. Lenlo is majorly under the radar. After being almost universally accepted as Town D1 for the Tracker claim, I would expect Len to be a lot more heavily involved than he’s been. I don’t remember much of a fresh thought or read in days (literally). I feel like he’s playing in the shadows and thus far hasn’t had to step out too far except to vote the lead wagon that the Town is driving.

 

I would very much like to lynch him this phase because I fear he will continue sliding by and that I will soon be dead for good.

The flavor is a minor detail in the grand scheme of things. A town read tracker!Lenlo in a crazy game wouldn’t be playing from the sidelines.

 

Its not about whether you look bad or not because of it. There’s really not much to say. You are using similar behavior that you are exhibiting to suspect someone else. If you are Town, then why can’t Hallia be town as well? It’s inconsistent.

Didn't call anyone an idiot, just so we're clear. Duke is at that stage in his Mafia career where he thinks he's got a pretty good bead on things and he was trying to apply logic/practice from other sites to this game, which wasn't working, and is pretty common when you see players cross pollinate. Every site has it's own culture and traditions and layering over another doesn't work. 

 

It's all there in the exchange but you do have to actually read it first to remember it.

My hesitance to switch votes was because when scum tries to lay low but then gets run up close to deadline, they ALWAYS claim Cop. When you showed up with a half hour left til deadline, it was a given that of course you were going to claim Cop. Scum always yolos and claims Cop, to fish if nothing else. 

 

We of course also know that nobody who actually was the Cop would ditch the game, so there's that. 

 

My "trying to twist Ed 1.0's lack of posting and playing as low lying scum" was in fact thoroughly discussed by the entire game at length, which you would see if you bothered to read the thread.

 

I don't even remember who suggested it first, doesn't matter, but it was a solid town play given the circumstances. 

 

You keep saying things like "But you keep sliding low yourself". How? How am I sliding low? 

 

Nothing you've said above is correct in any way.
