Obviously avoiding a mislynch today would be a pretty big deal, and my spidey senses say that's what we are doing. I think I'd be happy with either AJ or BG today, but I think AJ's going to be the harder wolf to lynch down the road.

It isn't just that DM doesn't work.. it is a Tradition that DM doesn't work. From back when we abandoned ship for ezboards.... they never work right. :P If they did then the whole universe would collapse...

Oh, the vote  count disappeared. I just wanted to note that AJ is still voting Lenlo in this VC. Will see if he has changed his mind as I continue to read.

I am akward on mafia. ive been playing off and on since i was probably 14 and i still don't feel any better. Im much better at reading people in person. Via txt i can get lost and it feels disconnected. People who are better stylistically and better writers can usually turn most stuff around on me.

 

If i get lynched use my reads if they are any good. I gotta sleep soon and have some stuff to do first. Might check in before i crash. 

 

Vote Lenlo He hasn't contributed much. I know that's his thing but in this kinda game i think we need more. Plus when I'm scum i go full lenlo. 

 

Im interested in what darthe thinks of me. He tutored me a few years back. He should have the best read.

The fact that AJ's main ~wolfread has been the lead wagon for some time and he hasn't even seemed to think about it or had any sort of reprocessing of the read is also, imo, a really really bad sign

 

The AJ I know would at least get nervous

I have a problem with Marsh. I like his "tone" (whatever that is) and that he has posted thoughts. But I don´t like those thoughts.

it's different when you are disconnected to the lynch, i think

 

when you were one of the first on the lynch as a villager and it's your preference, there's usually some sort of [attachment] and [ownership] yanno, especially with a villager as strong as AJ.

 

whereas as a wolf, I think you just sort of stay put and hope it goes through

And I also think he'd be pretty pumped to play this game as a villager, especially in a game state where he thought we were v/v. It's typically pretty easy for me to get a v read on him when he's a villager, at least.

I mean, I love the guy and think he's a tremendous player, but I don't know how I feel about him both A) mailing it in and B) seeming very content with the threadstate, especially in a game that's this wolfsided at start

 

Feel like he'd have started blooming by now. i remember jotting down in my "AJ reading handbook" that he struggles the most as a wolf in the earlygame and gets better as the game goes on ... I feel like I should listen to the handbook

We could’ve talked about this before if it really bothered you instead of continuing to bring me up to give others opportunities to take advantage of that general vibe. I’m glad you sacked up at least so we can squash it or get some resolution for the future.

 

there was a pretty specific post you made towards me early on that sort of quieted any unease I had about your initial take on me about the Shad interaction. It’s meta as hell but I also haven’t really had a problem with anything else you’ve said or done thus far.

 

Same with Shad. Last game when I started similarly slow/lax he was quicker to fend people off than call me out on it, which was correct in context with how the game followed another and overlapped, but generally I think he’d be more ambivalent regarding me if I wasn’t obvtown yet and he was a wolf.

I think this irked me right at the beginning, I know it's an open game setup game which means trying to soft claim a type of character in a way that both comes off at a joke, but at the same time is completely ambiguous as far as alignment is concerned. It just was weird to me. I decided to look back at all AJ's posts to bring a triumphant reasoning to my first impressions....

Unfortunately, I think this stuck in my head and then I started mixing other people's posts with AJ's in my brain. I need to rescind my previous suspicion on AJ honestly. I don't see anything that really constitutes linking other than this post, but this is a standard read post. 

 

I need to go and re-position who is who back in my brain.

AJ, what I've missed from you this entire game that I think is a core component of your village game and [not your wolf game] is anxiety.

 

It's one of the hardest things to sincerely fake as a wolf.

 

The rest I know - you aren't going to go down without a fight, you are very good at getting people on your side, and that this process is going to be difficult if I'm right.

Tbh I haven’t really had the time to digest yet. I am trying to read on the go and play strictly from my phone but every time I feel I have gotten back at a good place something else gets in the way and then I am left scrambling again. I was the only person voting Lenlo until like maybe an hour or two ago and I’m not sure what the current VC is
