if only barely. For those who actually noticed that I haven't been around since Monday night, sorry I didn't post a LoA before I disappeared. I woke up the other morning with a migraine from @#$@#% and nothing I took would touch it. I drug myself to work (after the mess I went through last week, it seemed like a good idea) and called the dr's office. They called in drugs, I picked 'em up and swallowed them. They put me to sleep. For a little bit.

*waves her hand* it's a long ugly story which pretty much ends with me in misery for three days, going to work every day with a migraine, sleeping every evening away and being up every hour through the night. Throw in three trips to the pharmacy and one trip to the doctor and that's about covered the last four days for me.

Nice, huh?

Let's see how long I last tonight... I'm on MSN if anyone's around for Kin Chat...

LOR!

*tacklesnugglehugsmooches Lor . . . carefully*

I missed you muchly! My week was not complete because I did not have the opportunity to chat with you . . . :(

I'm stealing a moment now to say "hi" here at DM. And getting ready to go smack the neighbor with the muffler-less hot rod next door. For some odd reason, he thinks the more he revs the car the better it runs or something? He was revving it before we left for the opening carnival and he's revving it again now. What's with that, anyway?

I LOATHE INCONSIDERATE NEIGHBORS WITH LOUD CARS!

Okay, now that I got that out of my system . . .

Ooops - gotta go help move kitchen cabinets!

Ohh yeah I noticed... lol... For you to be gone has to mean really sick, intrawebz down, kidnapped by your class, etc... haha...

I'm sorry you had to go through all this and with work too. I know you can't miss any more days really. *big hugs* I hope it's completely gone now.

i did too, but racked it up to you being sick when you told me about it, and btw...Ben was asking bout you as well...told him youd prolly be on saturday night and he said hed catch ya then....i was late, and didnt see you..

Migraines equal no fun love...btw your safer off taking rigland when your preggers for your migraines..sometimes if you catch it just right itll kill the pain too, otherwise it will work on the nausea that is associated with it. I took vikodin during my pregnancy with daniel for migraines too, and well, hes jsut fine :)

jsut dont take compazine during your first trimester ok!!!! go to webmd and they will explain different effects on fetus's, class C i believe is the unknown, rather nothing bad as of yet and rigland and vikodin or your lortab fall into that category....check your allergy meds too on that websight to see what the categories are onthem..

Just a little hopefully helpful mommy advice.

love you

Sorry about the head, honey. Have you tried ice? Yeah, I know it's pretty simplistic, but sometimes ice works better than the meds, for me. Just try not to freeze your eyeballs. :)

*hugs ya'll* Thanks, guys. the headache hit me about halfway through chat Saturday, so I bailed again. I had every intention of being here to do my Tower update last night, too, but it struck again about halfway through the race and I crashed on the couch. *sighs*

So far, I've only had a sinus headache today, so nothing I couldn't deal with. The OB actually prescribed the Lortab and I've already talked to my regular dr about Allegra being ok for a baby (I started taking it last year when I was still talking about trying and I didn't want to find something that worked only to have it taken away when I had peanut to worry about). So, aside from the possibile addictive properties of the hydracodone in the Lortab, I think I'm ok there. He told me to be careful with them and I've been overly careful with them, I think. I've lived through one addiction (chocolate, don't laugh.), I don't want to survive another one.

And I tried everything the day I woke up with it, Ursula. I actually have these cold strips that you stick on your forehead that get really cold. It's supposed to simulate the ice without actually putting the ice against your skin. It relieved a little of the pain, but not enough for me to get to sleep that morning before I went to work. When it didn't respond to temperature (I avoid pills like the plague these days), I decided to call the dr. That's when the multiple visits to the pharmacy started. lol Fun stuff, I think they know my name now.

Anyway, thanks again, ya'll! It's nice to be missed, even when I decide to take the boards with me... *grins*
