The Founding of Quahog (Peter's Progress) Mafia - Game Over

The death of a lady would be felt by all, but more so for the ones that loved her truly. Upon discovery that his long lost love had not only come this far to find him, but been murdered in the process, grief was too much for Peterson to overcome. He shut himself away from the sun and the people of the town, and by the time night fell the only sound inside his small house was the creak of a rope that held his weight.

Turin Turambar has committed suicide.

He was:

Griffin Peterson - Town Lover

Peterson’s absence was hardly noticed as once again the townspeople were assembled into a cluster at musket-point outside of the courthouse. The king made it clear that they would pay dearly, collectively, if they didn’t give up Peterson immediately. Squabbling soon led to a salty old timer being shoved forward, a banished citizen who made the journey to Quahog with Griffin. His wooden legs thumped as he stumbled forward and glared at the king through one squinty eye.

“You’ll burn in Hell for this!”

Verbal32 was lynched.

He was:

Colonial Seamus - Vanilla Town

One of them was a tracker and if they called anyone but Turin as their target they'd have been full outed.

Voyeur in the house.

Giggity

Wait.....you had an actual role you could have claimed?

Yep.

Turin could have confirmed it too because he got a love letter (presumably from Sooh) when she died.

I could not care less about clearing myself for all that I talk about it lol

But I could have caught a wolf with it if the cards played out just right.

Even if you had, that would have put me at a BFG/Clov scum team and I probably still vote BFG there anyway....so yeah.

lolVerbal?

Oh God if this is flavor aimed at me, I'm about to pee my pants laughing, hahahahaha.  If not, I might still.

One day I'll actually be able to convince people that my read on Chris is right

I was getting there? I wish I had some time D1 to push Tiink more.

Hindsight...

I know, and so was shad while I was going the other way lol

Great call on Tiinker D1

That’s all, folks.

Congrats Mafia!!!

For me it's really just a question of whether Verb's a wolf or if Tiink/Clov is a real possibility, at this point.

I was considering unvoting but wouldn't have made any difference lol

There isn’t a ton to read beyond me amusing myself with the setup.

Thanks everyone for playing. I’m glad this game got to run though sadly the worst possible scenario played out mechanically. A few different things here and there and who knows what happens. I hope everyone enjoyed, at least.

This game should go a long way to reading both Clov and Shad better from my POV, actually.  I'm hoping to not make such drastic mistakes next time.

Totally did, thanks for running it, and also thanks to Cory for the VCs.

Ben: his snip at me feels like he was all set to come out D2 and push at me, the easiest lynch. He didn't read the thread and see my claim and when confronted with it doubled down with the "it's just a claim in a game based on lying". To me it felt like frustration bleeding into game play.

All you made was a claim, Turin. Until you flip, that's all it is, and Verbal had been gone all weekend without an opportunity to cc. Also, just because Sooh was town lover, it does not mean that you are also town lover. You could have been mafia lover. I'm not taking your claim as gospel truth before the flip unless it's mod confirmed.

Also I really don't think Ben loses interest in a game he's winning as scum.

He was really enthusiastic and into it last game.

In a vacuumI don't see it unless his scum QT is a ghost land i.e. Tiink

Outside of a vacuum I think he's just a frustrated villager.

The Scum QT was pretty much just me in the WoT Kids game, and I played that game with enthusiasm right up until I won it.

Or let's put it a different way.  My approach hasn't been working with you, clearly.  I'm still taking it.  Is that how I wolf, really?  Do I just smack my head into a brick wall a hundred times and call it a game?  We're both mules Ben, I'm just wordier.  Call me a villager or I swear to god I will type another 5000 words and make you read them.

You have NO IDEA how hard I was giggling when I wrote this. I am such a goddamn wolf when I'm a villager lol

Love you Ben

I laughed at that as I was reading it in the original post. Well, now you know how not to approach me if you think we're v/v and you want to form a core.

That’s all, folks.

Woah, what does that say? Ben was Brian? Brian the dog? No kidding? Damn, take a look at that, BFG. I was Brian the dog, just like I said.

Grats, Wolves! Great game!

Thanks for the game, AJ!

Not sure if I know how to approach you, but I know how to read you.

I'll just have to change up.

Damn, I was just coming back to edit that out, too.

Sorry, it really irked me that you would shade me for a character claim, but my biting post was uncalled for.

I didn't shade you for a character claim though, I said you were town for it early and ended up scum reading you solely for your narrow focus
