I ask because I feel I could read their slot better from her. Darthe is doing that thing where he switches directions so often and on a whim it makes him hard to track. Not really scummy but muddles the read imo.

How about more scumhinting and less about how you're trying to work on being hard to read? If you're town this game one of your objectives should be to towntell. Yet it sounds like it's not one of your main concerns atm.

That's all I've done so far. I see AJ as town and Darthe as probably town. You are starting to lean that way because you are acting like you normally do. I don't know Lenlo, so I can't say as to him yet, and the others aren't playing.

This is only my first opportunity to make my town and wolf games look the same. It will take some time to smooth it out, and then, after I have a meta, it will take some time to determine if I've made a mistake by doing that, because maybe I just end up always being a D1 lynch because people would rather mislynch on D1 than let me deep wolf on them. I don't know. We'll see. Right now, I'm just trying to play town the same way I play wolf, because so far, I last until the end as wolf and die on D1 as town. As lead wagon on page 7, I see that isn't changing yet, but I can be patient. It will take time to learn the game and time to polish. Meanwhile, I am trying to learn to scum hunt and not just pretend to. It's kinda hard.

Meta is not the game, its a part of it. You're lacking atm in parts that aren't meta, namely logic.

Honestly at first i got vibes that there could be a sk/ben thing going on but he's been so blatant about defending him that i feel they're prolly never w/w. Ben might just be a townie out of his depth. His previous scum games seemed refined and he felt more together.

Because of the way he initially acted when I put attention on SK. Ie trying to wave it off by saying it was too early to say and he could be voting any of the other low posters with that reasoning. Just felt somewhat dissmisive and maybe even trying to get me to look at another low poster. But it grew so blatant that I find it hard to believe he'd do it as his scummate.

Speed catch up and @Nyn - This is the town game that I know and love from you.  Engaging, posting that is clearly giving your reads.  I like it.

 

Derf being Derf, but the engaging kind.  I'm happy with him so far.

I just looked at SK's other two games here. Both games, he basically just checked in on day 1 (real day, not D! game day), then started playing seriously on day 2 (in real time, not D2), so this is consistent with what little meta there is on him so far. You (Nyn) also look like you have in each game I've played with you, but I haven't seen your wolf game yet. Maybe you are a tricksy hobbitses who hides the precious well. Maybe you are town like you were in the other games.

Idk where sk is from but here we play on D1, I wouldnt mind cracking this habit of bailing post check-in.

Woah this is an unexpected reaction. Lets dig in.

 

First, I never mentioned claiming. Of course no one is going to claim anything other than town. However, I was talking about Ben reading people as town, not claiming he was town. There is a very important difference there that you either A) Forgot about or B) Purposely left out to attack me on.

 

As far as defensive goes, I could more accurately apply that to you right now. I responded with a snippish, 2  sentence post, clarifying what I said. Your response to that is to claim clarification is super wolfy, yelling I dont make any sense, and voting me. Doesnt look good, when all I did was correct you.

 

The rest is fine though. I agree on Nyn, I liked the exchange with Ben. Dug in and hitem. Was nice. Dont understand the not lynching Dice yet, since he has 3 posts.
