where are you at on adella/zep?

LZM is practically non-existent and I'm not sure how anyone has a read on him right now. The entirety of his game-related content was to say Cass felt different from last game.  Without actually checking his last game yet my memory says that's not really indicative of him.  Do want to know what Adella (and I think a second person? will have to confirm that during night) liked about it.

 

Adella is a work in progress.  She came off level headed in response to my earlier questions at her at least, felt ok in a way I wouldn't trust far.

In other news I just got a phone call from the local historical society for my wife because she volunteered to do some work for them, but they asked me to return the call on her behalf because the guy in charge of their website doesn't allow women to speak to him.

I would guess that Kronos is far more likely to be town than mafia, this level of engagement isn't massively common from him when he's town, and he finds mafia more difficult. I don't know how a hydra would affect his play though one of the people I would argue strongly against a lynch for though

Shad, can you point me to games where Nyn has been less engaged as a hydra? The one that come to my mind haven't displayed much difference from normal activity but I'm mostly thinking of whichever game she was hydra'd with Cory which isn't a fair baseline :p

 

Cass (and Nyn) gain the brownie points. Need to read Nyn's latest content more thoroughly, although superficially it looks ~good, prior to that 100% fluff/shark is a really bad look for Nyn. Suspect it's less the hydra and more RL, so I'm mostly going to be looking for what happens over her weekend <3

Dice ~Dice has gotten better at Dicing as scum so we'll see, the stubbornness is a good look, needs a lot more content

Adella ~mostly liked how she handled my questions, haven't seen a reply to the last one yet

Tigraine ~lack of anything glaring so far where I would half expect there to be

LedZepMan ~curious about the people claiming this looks like his last town game, because I thought he was pretty unreadable there and then he got peeked town

DreadPirateRoberts ~nothing yet

Darthe ~nothing yet, that pop-in vote and disappearance could be anything

Alfred Jodocus ~distinguished from DPR/Darthe because he seemed eager to get going and then didn't

 

 

WRT Shanti - Her play is totally different to Peg + Cat?

 

WRT LZM - IMO it looks like his last Town game because he's not forming cases etc early. It doesn't look like his last Town game because there's been no questioning/reads and his only real comments so far are 'watching' you and a meta comment that I'm different. 

 

I don't hate these bottom four, but it bothers me somewhat as a WTL since they're all the lowest volume players. The ?possiEZ clearing of Shanti and Dice, and to some extent myself and BFG bothers me here.

 

I think I'd put Tig above Dice/Adella at this point, and move Shanti down.

@adella- I'm truly just curious but how is it that you and I look at the Dice/Alf thing so differently? What was it about Alf's responses that you dont like?

 

What is it about Dice's browbeating that you do like?

In the 2 broke girls game that was exactly how Dice played. He is agressive and browbeats and it was hard for me to accept in that game, but he is also a good player. He is the one who figured out I was scum in that game and I felt like I had played a clean game. He is a good player, just has a more agressive playstyle, not unlike Tigs and myself.

 

As far as Alf, like I said I did not like his hedging around the questions. He repeatedly said that Dice never asked a question, and that is technically true but it's still to just keep saying that instead of answering and being open. Townies are generally open with discussion, and it is scummy to me that he kept hedging. Like I said, that's just the best I have to go on so far.

@BFG I looked at that last night and it wasn't as blatant as I remembered. (I think?) I was thinking of black metal mafia, which was hydra with Cory, but she did stop lolcatting and pick up well before the phase ended.  Or maybe I'm thinking of a game she subbed out of and I'm misrecalling it as hydra, or maybe I'm just derp but I swear I saw this out of her once before.

Okay, caught up atm.

 

I don't like the Dice/Alf exchange. Dice's questioning of a lack of response on a null D1 vote also raises my eyebrows. (I'm agreeing with Nyn which scares the bejeezus out of me)

 

It took me a good two hours to read through the exchange (my daughter is in a mood today) but I seem to recall not being bothered by any of Alf's responses.

 

@Dice- why was it such a big deal to you? Then when he responded you seemed to be beating a dead horse in keeping it going.

 

Nyn's play is consistent with both roles. I've still not recovered from the game with her, Ed, and DPR being the dream scum team. As I've stated before, she always seems scummy to me so I don't expect to have an actual read on her without more days.

 

When I first started reading the catch-up posts I was leaning scum on Darthe because he was playing much like he did D1 in the last game but then he picked up in activity. This doesn't clear him in my mind it just has me leaning away from that initial scum read.

 

I don't think I've seen Killa as scum so I have no comparison to go on. Her not liking her association with Shanti's "townie behavior" has my mind boggled but it doesn't necessarily scream scum just weird.

 

@Killa-why does the comparison or being related to Shanti bother you?

 

I'm not influenced one way or another on Cuth just becauae nothing has stood out to me so far.

 

DPR being busy has me biting my nails because I don't like the thought of him lurking in the shadows.

 

Someone mentioned my remarking on Shanti's peppiness only to say that her peppiness doesnt really mean anything. I've explained this but will again. I had forgot that she actually did come in that way last game. What I remembered from that game initially was the later play where she came in with good content but wasn't generally present a lot. After that game she expressed a wish to get a scum role. So from that POV her coming in really peppy stood out. Then it was pointed out that she was peppy D1 of that game as well and after I went and checked realized it was true. And her peppiness this game didn't mean so much. I would like to hear from her today.

 

I like Cass's questioning everything, it stands out as very town due to her actions in recent games. I'm not sure I've played with her as scum though (could be wrong just don't recall) so I'd like to hear from someone that has seen her scum play.

 

Shad's play seems a lot like those of other town players that take the lead and try to poke everyone. I'm weary of that kind of play becauae it would be so easy for scum to assume that role and lead us in the wrong direction.

 

Adella is consistent in her last town game play where she seemed pretty busy with rl so I'm gonna give her the benefit of the doubt.

 

BFG's play has seemed alright up to this point, liking some of the content just wish there were more.

Dunno if I've left anyone out and I know it's very noncommittal but that's where everyone is standing in my head atm.

 

I'm going to attempt to glance back through but not sure how successful I will be with thus child clinging to my leg.

The only things standing out different to my own thoughts/opinions are

 

Wrt Darthe - he posted more in that last/his scum game than here. I'm gonna go ahead and say activity itself is probably NAI for him, it's more about what he says and how. Rereading Old West (where he was Town) he makes much/many more direct X player/post is [conclusion] type comments. He's still null-scum for me right now

 

Wrt Adella, I think there's a difference in her level of bite/hunting/questioning between here and last Town game.

The Shanti-pep thing was me but am happy to leave that alone wrt you for now - where do you actually have Shanti aorn?; and

Shanti is coming off to me like she usually does, town, but I am waiting for her catch-up read.

 

Wrt adella, are you asking why I think she's consistent with last town game? If so, it's because like I said, rl kept her pretty busy so she was just coming in with random posts here and there. It's actually one of the reasons she was easy to Lynch.

Initial mindmeld, but she started pretty peppy in Peg + Cat as well... Is extra pep a bad thing wrt Shanti specifically, for you?

If Shanti was peppy in peg+cat as town why were you suspicious of it this game?

Mostly her rapid-fire entry here drew my attention as different to last game, and the pep/play tone seemed possibly overdone.

 

Went back and looked - the rapid-fire is different, the pep/play is similar enough. #earlygamesmallthings /shrug

 

What's your take?

This quote confuses me. I call shanti out for being peppy this game and Cass tells me (correctly) that Shanti came into the last game peppy. BFG (sorry I left you off the list earlier ) comes in asking me why I was suspicious of Shanti for being peppy in this game if she was in P+C and Cass answers like she was suspicious of it too.

 

How come Cass? Do you think her pep this game is suspicious or no?

It's a consideration, so I'm watching, but not enough to chase her on it specifically, no: I don't know her well, confidence improving is a thing, and like I said there are hints of similar enough tone in the last one that /shrug.

The rapid-fire entry is a more notable difference. Watching her with popcorn to see where she goes from there.

 

What caught my attention more, after re-reading her Peg + Cat (and the reason I quoted it) was your "But you are kinda rolling with a lot of pep Shanti *stares suspiciously*".

Which you followed by answering that you don't find pep a suspicious thing for her, so ?

 

Have other thoughts on this wrt WBK and BFG but will need to go pull quotes.

That's not how I remember that at all

 

Alf hasn't responded to any vote on him till prodded by Dice at which point he asked why he should be concerned with a vote based on nothing. That is an answer? What am I missing?
