I was wondering if Zander´s question was a way to look town in a game with uncertain mechanics. It´s probably an ordinary question though.

I found several interesting things reviewing DPR's previous games. Tried to note different habits; admittedly his mafia game was from 2014, but he had a 3P game recently and throughout I saw a lot of things he gravitates toward as a villager but does not do in separates roles.

 

A) DPR is actually a pretty transparent villager. Some of his theories are out there, but he's generally pretty forward with what he thinks and will explain it at length if necessary. His attitude is typically congenial unless he feels attacked. He's event-focused (rather than player-focused) and typically juggles multiple suspects but not always aggressively.

 

B) DPR as [non-villager] can probably be described as "aggressive" - he's more player-focused, generally focuses on a smaller group of players and attacks on a logical level. His reads in general are more concise and the long, multi-paragraph explanations disappear. He's more "on edge". He's not afraid of posting or attention; volume isn't really reliable as a shortcut to reading him.

 

After absorbing his games and reading his ISO in this one, this game looks a lot more like B to me - there are some oddities that stick out to me as weird but nothing that really makes me think he's a villager. The argument me and him earlier the game was very similar to an argument he had with bopolis in a previous game (circle jerk vs. handjob club), but his distaste for that style of play never reeled in whereas here he's been more conciliatory and easier to handle. Which I prefer either way, but unfortunately the sudden change in even the more subtle aspects of his attitude are hard for me to chalk up to him trying to amend his villager game to the current meta.

 

tl;dr - I think DPR is a wolf and is one that is probably quite capable of going deep should sounder minds find their way to the graveyard.

Just the most basest observations:

 

- Tina's scum game is conscious of her post count limitations and generally has a lot of fluffier posts (both in generalities with people and general talk) to help boost it into more real levels. Especially early.

 

- Tina's ISO this game starts with immediate firepower and she hasn't spent much time stopping to be congenial. She's focused on the game, not on her volume or how people look at her.

 

- Tina's scum game has larger, game-play driven posts that serve an immediate agenda and generally are a precursor to a vote / push.

 

- Tina has had a mix of middle and longer game-play driven posts that clearly show her through process and aren't intentioned in another direction. Everything seems natural and cohesive.

 

- Tina's scum game generally pushes her to townread vocal players because her townie thought process tends to be a lot of "trust people who have shown they are town;" - she overcompensates here as a wolf sporadically to the point where her progressions lack depth and are developed too quickly.

 

- Tina has kept to her village principles but it's been a slow process. Her paranoia with me is something she'd probably forget to replicate as a wolf, for example.

 

I could go on.

Just a note: it's almost guaranteed that Niniel told her wolfbros to bus her very early in the game (or some sort of strategy re: her). I can tell you why, but it's going to sound egotistical (but it's probably right!)

 

So that's something I'm going to pay attention to - specfically people who have fake negative-leaning progressions on Niniel

Because she thought you'd be able to read her and figure her out and she wanted her mates to look good?

As Cory said, he will definitely find out that I´m mafia. That is one of the reasons I have you in my mafia list. But I think people will focus more on you if you don´t post any clear reads. It looks a bit "fluffy" right now. Now, maybe you usally play that way? If so then it´s okay. I´m connecting you to Ocicat. If he get´s lynched and shown town then it might look better for you. Not sure if I´m doing this right.

 

If I´m alive by night I want to kill Cory. I´m sorry that he rarely outlives N1 but he will definitely find me out. :(

 

I promise this isn't an ego stroke (I acknowledge I have the worst personality of all time and I have no idea why any of you put up with me) but just a reminder that Niniel will 100% push teammates and encourage her team to bus her if she feels it'll help her team. So, idk, don't be fooled by shallow bussing plays or anything like that - Tina is a smart player and knows how to put a strategy together.

 

I feel like I have to say this because a lot of people are clearing Ed. I don't have a really solid read on Ed yet (I'm not saying he's mafia), but if he has some weak 1v1 with Niniel that isn't necessarily a positive sign.
