This is where we're gonna have a problem, buddy.

I was busy and my initial posts were primarily spammy. My initial catch up was just me catching up and getting a feel for the game. I've said as much.

How would I have thoughts on Adam flipping town WHEN I WASN'T EVEN AT THE PART WHEN ADAM HAD POSTED?

Yes, when someone focuses on me or questions me, I'll reply to them. You're the one who has pushed that the most. Go on ahead and actually read my thoughts before saying I'm shadowing others. :smile:

No. You didn't just MISS some posts. You're not reading them. Also, I already pointed out that me saying Tigs is always scummy was a joke (yes, more spam).

You read the thread with the knowledge that Adam was town but came back with literally 0 thoughts on the subject.....

Your only thoughts in the game pretty much revolve around me and most shadow what other people have said.

I town read him because I liked his tone from his first few posts, and literally state that I want to see more from him.

It isn't like I didn't keep hounding about him and sadly the only time he actually dug in was at eod when I wasn't here. Besides that his only reads were from things outside the game, which I have explained my thoughts on.

I already feel absolutely terrible for lynching him since he was town, and of course was a new player to dm. But I stand by it and still think at the time I left the thread he was the most scummy to me.

Your right I may have missed some posts but 99% were joking or not serious ones involving this game. Saying tigs is always scummy isnt a read, it's a way to avoid giving one.
I isod your other games because your play just felt so different. I may have pushed you in the other games but you at least had moments where I thought you were a towny. Here I literally think you are just scum.

Also I'm sorry if you think I'm being rude, I am not meaning to in any way, I don't think I have attacked you personally? And if I did I'm sorry but I am pretty sure I am focusing on mafia.

I also misread about the cases and tlm,your right you didnt. You call it giving you cap I'm trying to figure out the game.

Although speccing on the team without a flip is messing with me. I tend to do it often ><

Reading it now, mixed with your first post out of the gate saying I am town, I guess I was just to daft to miss the claim insinuations. It's still very odd for me to have townies be so blatant.

I can't figure out how you or anyone else thinks it is such a big stretch to assume your motives are possibly recruitment. Shad's OP mentioned possibly finding yourself in a QT so that was my very first thought. As well as when you started asking people to say "I am town" pretty much from the start. Questioning you on that, especially mixed with the mysterious TLM, just seems like good sense and seems like a good thing for us townies to do. I mean, you seem like an intelligent person...except for the 49ers thing, so why is it so hard for you to conceive of such a thing?

I understand that it's hard for people to fathom why it would take so long to make a post of that's size but i am a single mom of three. While I'm ISOing someone I am also keeping a page open to keep up with what is currently being said in the thread. mix that with track meets, inspections and sleeping...I apologize that it's not up to standards.

IRT being a 49ers fan- FML.....tho Im pretty happy with Lynch;s 1st draft as a rookie GM for my 9ers tho. Looking like if he continues to draft well and stays the course we should be ok after a 3-5 year rebuild.

As far as the editing my post part, if you read shads answer to me asking to edit right after it, it was a joke about me messing up the spoilers tag when I asked him if i could fix the tags. So I dont know wtf kinda issue you have or better wording trying to push/shade me with. My character isnt a hacker. Neither were any of the ones who have died.

I really feel like it could be ed/killa/soon the more I look at it. Sooh is kinda a hard one because she has been defending those 2 and fits too well? If that makes sense.

I think ed/killa/Lenlo could make sense more than the above.

Well it was. I was isoing people and trying to come up with something decent to post because today I was feeling a little burnt out with mafia and had not posted at all. That was why I said that about night posts because I did not have anything much to say about anything. I know that not having any ideas looks bad so I was re reading and wracking my brain for some sort of epiphany or for my brain to get into the game. How the f am I supposed to even know night posting favors town? I just liked how nyns game went and was missing it compared to this game. This one is far more aggressive and its making feel like an idiot because I have nothing to say. I almost wish you guys would make a wagon on me just to get out of this game. But I know thats bad form and not good for the town team when people do that. I saw how disappointed everyone was in kronos when he did that. After I take a small mafia break I still want to come back and play because despite it being a little frustrating it is a fascinating game. So I am doing my best to keep going so I am not burning any bridges and no one wants to play with me later.

Its not even that I cant get anyone to see that I am town. I have had that problem from day 1 playing lol. I cant actually put my finger on why I feel like I cant see anything worth mentioning or to help town. I wanna help town but I am coming up totally blank. I dont want to start making sh*t up to post because that would be bad for the town. What is it about this game. I had to fight just as hard in the other games to get seen as town so why is this one burning me out so bad...

Anyway I currently have nothing. Hate to let the town down but it is what it is. What do any of you do when you really feel like you have nothing worth contributing?

Also I am no where near upset so no need to post supportive encouragement I dont need it. I am just trying to work thing out here for myself.

If youre Scum and this like only 2 or 3 game overall and 1st as Scum youre gonna be one of the GOAT Scum players on this site when you get a little more exp under your belt imo

To be honest kill I go back and fourth on you alot... this is my 2nd game and it may just take me a few to get comfortable with you if you are town.

You can always try to read the game with new info, and just question people about anything you find suspicious.

Figuring out who the mafia are will never be easy but looking for town, people who look to be genuinely solving and trying to develop there reads is 1 way.

Another is focusing on who you might see as scum and questioning them to try to get further info.

If your stuck or lost all I can say is creating your own information rather then basing reads off what someone else had done might help you.

When I first started I literally googled.everything from how to scum hunt to how to find Townes, to stealing ideas from others that I saw play.

The editing post I thought was in the same context as the LD question. I thought that was your way of trying to get whichever person it was to say they were town before you actually came out and just asked everyone to.

I have been in games with a LD but they never revealed that early. And with the "creative thinking could be beneficial" ever present in the back of my mind, plus not knowing what TLM is, the "if you find yourself in a QT" I actually thought it was pretty reasonable to assume that there could be ulterior motives. Someone thought voting TLM may trigger something and your panties didn't bunch so that just added to the persona of the "this could trigger something" mentality.

When I said I keep an open tab that I have been checking on, it started after the post with my first reads. With that post, I had just read all of their posts and formulated an opinion which I posted. Then I realized that wasn't really the best way to do it because I'm not pointing to anything specifically and by the time I got to the end, I had forgotten what I thought about the beginning. So I have been reading a few posts, going to my notepad and putting my opinion, checking the current thread then going back to the ISOing. It's a process.

I'm trying miserably to adapt to how aggressive townies are in the way the game is played now. It may not be much but it seems like a whole different game at times. Instead of just focusing on who/why spmething is scummy, it's been more of "everyone agree that a specific person is town and we will follow their lead to the end. I'm more skeptical of the person everyone is following than anybody else because I feel like I need to show their true colors to save the town.

As for the 9ers, they've seemed to have a rough 7 or 8 years. Maybe a good year or two thrown in. But it's good to see someone stick with a team when they lose. Shows loyalty. Could be worse, my dad's been a Cincinnati fan my whole life....we know how that's paid off for him :laugh:

Because I think adam could be scum as well. I really liked the people on this wagon, barring killa's recent post and I did not want to just abandon it. besides that ed starts to post around that time and if you kept reading you should know why.

First, on phone.

So I wanna point out for DPR, since he is conviently ignoring this fact, I never criticized the TLM spec, I criticized the Cory spec. 2 different things, so don't try to pretend voting TLM is counter to what I've said. It's not.

Second, TLM is the/a bad guy in the show Zander. Yeah, he's a less awesome V, but the good guys from this show are in the government (Sector 9 I think) so there's your perspective.
Dpr is touching on this but lenlo's lack of game related posts is disturbing. and is nothing but spec on TLM.

The bolded is one thing that bothered me about dpr's vote, but I honestly am having a hard time seeing this dude as scum this game.

Her catch up post and a few after pretty much.

Maybe it's because I liked how she formed her read on me, but I didn't think it was meh as ed said or understand why you have a problem with it.

I love her tone and her posts show a general understanding of what's on and her own pov.

She didn't use quotes to try and hide anything she just gave her opinion of the isos she read and I think it's genuine.

Most of her flak is coming from posting in her other game when she had mostly fluff here d1. I think she is showing more of a attempt in general to games olive then ed. It doesn't make her town by any means, but I want to believe it.

I remember you harper on her Darthe post but he didn't really do anything to deserve a read imo.

And if you give me a.bullet I'm shooting ed over her 99% of the time.
