I have a very specific problem with one aspect of Tress' posting so far but I don't feel like bringing it up just yet

 

She usually does not make reads until she feels comfortable, so her content being almost entirely fluff is not all that shocking to me at this point, but something else is running through my head

 

I have something in addition to it (that's probably stupid and I doubt anybody would ever care about besides C-lol-v), but I disagree with you to a certain extent IRT reads.  You're right that she's not going to just completely fabricate them or force herself to commit to a read that she doesn't actually believe, but I think she typically develops at least one or two reads that are ~fleshed out relatively early when she's town.  

 

We're almost 700 posts in, and afaict, the closest thing she's come to giving a read is "props to Seph for kicking it into serious mode early" or something.  Compare that to this post from Fight Club.  It was 300 posts in.

 

Just tried to reread and I'm kinda too unfocused to formulate reads.  I hate being useless. 

 

Feeling vaguely ok about BFG, maybe Dice, possibly Sooh.  DPR is DPRing it up and can't be pinned down this early because he won't be meta'd.  Not sure how I feel about Cuth and his Darthe fixation - it's the thing that stuck out to me the most while reading but I can't decide if it makes sense or not.  And I never know what to think about Darthe.  WiFi had me a little concerned with the apparent overreaction to DPR's vote but I've read enough games of hers to know that's not going to be useful in figuring out if she's mafia.

 

 

I know we have less than an hour and a half to narrow it down to the 2 fighters for the day but to be brutally honest I'm pretty sure I'm going to be utterly unhelpful with that decision.

 

First, she's actually taking a stance on a few players.  Are they particularly strong?  Not really - and that's fine.  I don't completely clear or condemn people off 300 posts, either.  But it shows she's thinking and getting initial impressions.  Here, she seems like she's almost going out of her way to avoid talking about people.

It certainly isn't a good sign, but I'm almost entirely sure I remember a few villager games where she didn't comment about the game much until [closer to EoD] as a villager and I remember having similar anxiety with her slot. I might be thinking of House of Cards(?) in particular.

 

With that being said - I do feel to some extent that if she was a villager it would be easier for me to have gotten to that read or started moving toward that read by now. I still want to give her time

I asked some questions in my last post and some of them got answered and some didn´t.

 

Clov refused to say why he voted Sooh and did the same with Tress later. I really don´t know why and I don´t know why people seem so cool with it.

 

I still don´t know why Darthe liked Shad/Cory and later disliked Shad. He hasn´t posted much after this.

 

I haven´t understood why Seph voted Shad/Cory but that was some time ago now. He has since voted Darthe and Killa. It feels like he is jumping around a lot. I guess that he voted Darthe because he wasn´t here much (?) but never re-voted him again after unvoting Killa. The vote on Killa was really bad.

 

Also doesn´t like Ed´s reason for voting Killa. 

 

Manbat has said why he thinks Cory/Shad is townie but I don´t get it. It doesn´t seem to be for game related reasons, or? 

 

So far I like Sooh the best. She is active, asking questions, doesn´t jump to conclusion.

The shad thing was different. I believe you were giving him crap about his meta read on someone and it seemed like you were past inquisitive and onto pushy (I responded to you already and told you it felt agenda-like).

 

The vote thing was me drunkenly slightly joking, slightly wanting to see how she reacted, and mostly wanting to see how others reacted. I didn't like your initial knee-jerk jump on it and then unvote, but since then you haven't seemed so bad on it.
