End of Night Three!

Soap!

 

Fight Club only exists between the hours that Fight Club stats and Fight Club ends.  Who you were at Fight Club is not who you are the rest of the time.  Fight Club didn't take place at night, so there was no Fight Club.  

 

I've always thought "Way Away" was the best Yellowcard song, but I have to be honest, "Breathing" is really growing on me.  I'll fight (club) anyone that says Ocean Avenue is better.  #ForYouAndYourDenial #theoneImadeupatworkthatsraciallyinsenstivebuthilariousPMfordetails

The perfect opportunity? This is what I'm talking about.

 

You have some preconceived notion (perpetuated by Darthe I'm sure) that I have it in for Darthe every time I play with him because of a long standing feud. I've disputed this with evidence to the contrary the last time you brought this up in another game but apparently that did nothing to convince you. The reality of the situation is he is a bad sport and a generally trolly person, in a bad way. Why anyone still wants to play with him is something I don't understand but that's just the way it is and in order for me to continue playing a game I enjoy I have to deal with that because he joins almost every single game on the site. The mistake you're making, and one that I'm sure has entered into the mind of others as well, is that because of how I view Darthe I am going to sink to his level and compromise the spirit of the game in order to go after him. I am not a cheater and I try not to be a bad sport so doing something like that is not fun for me. If I were to get Darthe lynched on D1 of every game and no one would even question it I still wouldn't do it because that's not playing the game right and that's not what I want to do.

 

So if you're going to continue to have this view of me I don't know how to proceed. I don't want you to not question or vote me for whatever I say or do in regards to Darthe but at the same time I think it's totally wrong for you to do the opposite and think I'm just blindly targeting him for personal reasons outside the game. This is at least the second game this has come up and if it's going to keep happening I don't know what to do about it.

 

 

 

All that said, I'm pretty sure that the FOS pointing at you is about the fact that we had a claim painting Darthe red, and you chose to vote me anyway.

 

Because you're both dirty. I see you as the bigger threat so I put my vote on you.

 

 

Trying to drag this into emo territory just makes you look worse. 

 

So far, the case against you is:

 

1. Wifi had a weird reaction to a joke vote. It caught folks attention.

2. By your own admission, you refuse to read the game (and we're only talking 40 pages or so). Any townie would see the necessity in doing so. Mafia wouldn't need to.

3. You said "win-win" but you never presented any fact based case against me - just stories about my meta. You voting against a hard claim/find just looks like you protecting a team-mate - and then you act like you don't understand that. No bueno. 

 

You got anything to say about these things without drifting off into a speech about how life is so unfair?

1) Dunno what that's about, don't care overmuch.

 

2) I don't like rereading. I never have. It's like grinding in an RPG. Just dirty work you feel like you have to do. This time I decided I am just going to play and whatever happens happens. I hope I can help my team and play right with the information I've gleaned in the last 20 pages.

 

3) I did vote you for meta that's correct. I don't understand why anyone would view that as protecting a teammate when I voted to throw him into the ring in the first place.

this "preconcieved notion" i have isnt held by just me and is in fact driven by YOU not Darthe. YOU have made more issue of having him on ignore and wanting him to not be in games then he has BY FAR.

 

I DO agree that for the main you have done a good game of playing around ure bias. Doesnt change the fact that you have that bias or that we know of it and therefore it is in our heads when reading you two in a game.

 

So then we have a situation where Darthe has been outted by a PR. this is a perfect opportunity for you to lynch him and feel good, without having to worry that ure bias is causing a mistake.

 

And you didnt.. THATS the weirdest part.

 

Look this is all outside the game discussion. I'll PM you and we can talk about it after the game is over. For now it is what it is I guess.

OK Im gonna do my best to get all read up.

 

I havent been following along so I need to read the entire game,

 

Im gonna do my best to get caught up as quick as possible and I will try to be around as much as possible tho RL will not allow me to be as active as I normally am.

 

I am Town tho and I promise I will try my best!!!!

 

Anyone wanna be a GOATfrand and drop the cliffnotes for me so I can have some idea of whats up as I try to catch up?!?!?!!?

Ohhhh boyyyyyyy.... ZanderCatchUp underway.... lol

 

Cliffs:

 

D1 we no lynched because DPR and Cuth were in the ring and they both thought each other was town, and it seemed pretty possible (turns out Cuth definitely was, and based on how Darthe treated DPR D3, I think probably he is too)

 

N1 Sooh killed with no coroner. Probably a limited shot janitor.

 

D2 it got all tangly with Seph, Cuth, Darthe and DPR arguing with a side of Ed thrown in for good measure, and it seemed fairly likely that at least one of those 4 was mafia, so we put Darthe and Cuth in together and Darthe claimed Coroner, so we lynched Cuth instead. Mistake.

 

N2 Nolder replaced WiFi and said he wasn't planning to read the pages he missed (which he also said in the signup thread, so I guess that's whatever man). Darthe said he was going to use his coroner ability on Sooh. DPR asked Darthe for the details of his role. Darthe wasn't around to answer. BFG killed.

 

D3 Darthe said he got no result, refused to give details of his role, pushed DPR pretty hard as his top wolf suspect. I had a hell of a lot of fun toying with him before I revealed as town watcher. I watched BFG night 2 and caught Darthe killing her in living color, so we threw Darthe in the ring with DPR. Nolder was the only one who decided DPR was more suspicious than Darthe. :dry: Darthe flipped mafia goon.

 

As for the rest of 'em, Hallia has been super inactive which is kind of worrisome. I'm pretty comfortable with Dice here, as was BFG, so you can probably give him a pass on your suspicion-meter for now. DPR has been up and down on my suspicion list, could possibly be gambiting with Darthe but eh... keep an eye on him, but I think he's probably OK here. When you get to D3 watch Darthe's interactions with him and see what your take is. In fact, if you won't have time to do a full catchup before deadline, I'd prioritize D3, it has some nuggets.

Hallia's super inactivity has been as both alignments recently so Null at best for her imo.

 

Nolder not saying he isnt gonna read something is also not alignment indicative of him as well. I also have 0 idea how to red Wifi. What was everyone's reads on her before she subbed out?

 

And do you think the red could be because of the blue?!!?!?!?

Is it distancing or a legit attempt to lynch a townie?

 

Strangely, Nolder thinks DPR is mafia but doesn't think Darthe was trying to distance from a teammate.

 

I am still trying to wrap my head around that.

 

Maybe my expectations are too high. It just doesn't look like an attempt to distance to me.

I feel like both would come on stronger if that is what they were trying to do.

Maybe it's very light distancing? I guess it could be. /shrug

 

Does it really matter?

My best guess as it stands:

 

So, anybody that takes any interest in game mechanics has already suspected that this is a hybrid recruit game. I'm guessing Darthe had 1 other mate (Wifi/Nolder) and that they were offered the option to skip a NK in return for a recruit. For the sake of balance, this would be a 1x deal.

 

They also had a 1x Janitor role that Darthe clearly exploited so that he could unleash his amazing reveal.

 

We're looking for 2 more mafia. Nolder is 1 and whoever changes up their playstyle. 

 

My case on Nolder still stands (as listed above).
