You have some preconceived notion (perpetuated by Darthe I'm sure) that I have it in for Darthe every time I play with him because of a long standing feud. I've disputed this with evidence to the contrary the last time you brought this up in another game but apparently that did nothing to convince you. The reality of the situation is he is a bad sport and a generally trolly person, in a bad way. Why anyone still wants to play with him is something I don't understand but that's just the way it is and in order for me to continue playing a game I enjoy I have to deal with that because he joins almost every single game on the site. The mistake you're making, and one that I'm sure has entered into the mind of others as well, is that because of how I view Darthe I am going to sink to his level and compromise the spirit of the game in order to go after him. I am not a cheater and I try not to be a bad sport so doing something like that is not fun for me. If I were to get Darthe lynched on D1 of every game and no one would even question it I still wouldn't do it because that's not playing the game right and that's not what I want to do.

 

So if you're going to continue to have this view of me I don't know how to proceed. I don't want you to not question or vote me for whatever I say or do in regards to Darthe but at the same time I think it's totally wrong for you to do the opposite and think I'm just blindly targeting him for personal reasons outside the game. This is at least the second game this has come up and if it's going to keep happening I don't know what to do about it.

All that said, I'm pretty sure that the FOS pointing at you is about the fact that we had a claim painting Darthe red, and you chose to vote me anyway.

 

Trying to drag this into emo territory just makes you look worse. 

 

So far, the case against you is:

 

1. Wifi had a weird reaction to a joke vote. It caught folks attention.

2. By your own admission, you refuse to read the game (and we're only talking 40 pages or so). Any townie would see the necessity in doing so. Mafia wouldn't need to.

3. You said "win-win" but you never presented any fact based case against me - just stories about my meta. You voting against a hard claim/find just looks like you protecting a team-mate - and then you act like you don't understand that. No bueno.

I'm caught up from eod but I don't have time today to really dig in the thread where I want to here.

 

To be honest I'm not really seeing dpr as scum here even though I disagreed with him up until n2 or so.

1. Dpr hasn't been the most towny in my eyes but I think that's on me. I still dislike his d1/n1 but overall I did a poor job of reading him.

 

N2 really opened my eyes with him going back and fourth. His thought process isn't terrible and is reading the game alongside other townies.

 

He seems to be trying to resolve my slot instead of just push a agenda, and coming out d2 we had some similar thoughts.

 

There is a chance he is scum and distanced but I would look towards nold/ed still in the actives before I look at him. And of course crush and hallia in the inactives.

 

Overall with his gameplay as of late I am happy with the improvements and with his views not so different than mine I want to put him as town, unless he wants to bus his entire team lol.

 

 

How do you reconcile your early support for Darthe?

Error what lol? I didn't ever support darthe besides when he claimed pr, and I wouldn't exactly call that support.

 

I believed his claim as it made sense to me, but I don't know nearly enough to understand what hlf of what you and bfg were talking about with the roles and what could/should work in this game.

 

I get that I may be in the poe because of it, but I wouldn't change how I played it because as bfg said darthe would work himself out, and did. Though a large part is tress just being a goat lol.

@zander a big part of dice was his opening post, if you want specifcs it was the tail end of it. (Was a opinion of mine which is why I didn't want to share it early, because when I do that I usually get in fights that bog down the thread lol)

along with a series of posts after that the tone was pretty much on par without town dice.

He has done nothing scummy this game imo!

I make reads all the time but you are one in less comfortable about until you start doing your thing.

Like I'm more comfortable tone reading other people Than yourself so I will be more cautious with how I go about reading you early on until I'm certain.

I feel like as mafia you could take my trust and easily kill me with it :( lol

He seems to be using other people's reads of Darthe over his own, for example. Taking those into higher consideration.

 

On the surface, that's a bad move, because when someone is Mafia, they're not truly reading someone like town are. And so early in the game, most reads are pure hunches.

 

Why are you harping again on seph when Iron iirc was talking about sheeping.

 

I dunno if I'm missing something but I'm not a fan of Ed's last couple posts but it's harder without having any real Meta on him tho to feel comfortable about a read on him.

Ohhhh  boyyyyyyy.... ZanderCatchUp underway.... lol

 

Cliffs:

 

D1 we no lynched because DPR and Cuth were in the ring and they both thought each other was town, and it seemed pretty possible (turns out Cuth definitely was, and based on how Darthe treated DPR D3, I think probably he is too)

 

N1 Sooh killed with no coroner.  Probably a limited shot janitor.

 

D2 it got all tangly with Seph, Cuth, Darthe and DPR arguing with a side of Ed thrown in for good measure, and it seemed fairly likely that at least one of those 4 was mafia, so we put Darthe and Cuth in together and Darthe claimed Coroner, so we lynched Cuth instead.  Mistake.

 

N2 Nolder replaced WiFi and said he wasn't planning to read the pages he missed (which he also said in the signup thread, so I guess that's whatever man).  Darthe said he was going to use his coroner ability on Sooh.  DPR asked Darthe for the details of his role.  Darthe wasn't around to answer.  BFG killed.

 

D3 Darthe said he got no result, refused to give details of his role, pushed DPR pretty hard as his top wolf suspect.  I had a hell of a lot of fun toying with him before I revealed as town watcher.  I watched BFG night 2 and caught Darthe killing her in living color, so we threw Darthe in the ring with DPR.  Nolder was the only one who decided DPR was more suspicious than Darthe.    Darthe flipped mafia goon.

 

As for the rest of 'em, Hallia has been super inactive which is kind of worrisome.  I'm pretty comfortable with Dice here, as was BFG, so you can probably give him a pass on your suspicion-meter for now.  DPR has been up and down on my suspicion list, could possibly be gambiting with Darthe but eh... keep an eye on him, but I think he's probably OK here.  When you get to D3 watch Darthe's interactions with him and see what your take is.   In fact, if you won't have time to do a full catchup before deadline, I'd prioritize D3, it has some nuggets.

Yeah, not so much telling, when you consider that Cuth claimed VT during his D1 fight with DPR, and Darthe claimed town coroner.  And very few people wanted another no lynch after D1.

I think what you see as him wanting to use others' reads as his own is what I see as him prodding others to give reads which he in turn can read them for, like say I ask you what you think of Dice for example, and you tell me, that gives me an idea about your alignment and not Dice's.

 

It's a subtle difference, but it was enough for me not to understand what you meant to begin with.
