Lego Mafia [Standard] - GAME OVER

Pretty quiet here last night. Nice to wake up to 28 new messages instead of 100 though. What's not so nice to wake up to is work, which I find bleh this week. At least it's not next Tuesday and ski-day. That's the WORST!

This is concerning me.  So we don't need a certain # to lynch, just as long as you have the majority of the votes?  Well bugger.

 

Concerning IRL Mafia.  What I've usually done is get a deck of cards and do 1 scum for every 4 townies.  When I first played back in the 90s we only had VT and Scum, no roles or 3rd parties.  To be honest I've never played 3rd party roles.  We would then get in a circle facing inwards and then it would begin.  During the night the mafia would kill and have to do it as silently as possible as you had people sitting right next to you who could pick up on movement if they were paying close enough attention, like the sound of an arm moving to point out their victim.  Later I started adding someone who could save a scum victim at night, we'd usually call them a nurse/doctor, and also a sheriff who could ask the mod if someone was scum during the night.  I think we added an angel type role too but I don't remember what they did.  So yeah, this is all much more complicated than I ever played.  Usually everyone I played with back in the day was very enthusiastic about playing and if someone wasn't we'd politely let the mafia kill them or we'd lynch them so they could move on to something else while we played.

 

I always found that day 1 was always tricky, it's literally just stabbing in the dark.  So, nice stab dice.

I was going to say that the first message at least read awkwardly to me, in a non-wifi way, but I was biding my time. We'll see how it progresses, but you're right in that we need to get the game moving.

To be fair, Wifi got burned in her last game. I'm not surprised to see her change play styles a bit.
