If I had two bullets and had to shoot someone, I would shoot...well shoot I don't know.  I just don't have any strong reads at the moment.  I thought I felt strong about Sooh but it got weaker and weaker as the day went on.  It's tough when you're away from the game all day long and then try to absorb everything all at once when my brain is tired from kids and working on the house.  I'm still not solid on her.

 

I'd like to hear if anyone else on my theory on Cuth running the game as scum to keep suspicion from him is unfounded.  Cause I'd like to wrap him up solidly as town and not have to look back.

Wifi, you are right, I'm everywhere, I'm kinda shooting everywhere with my two bullets hoping they ricochet and hit a guilty person cause most of my normal arsenal for finding scum just doesn't work on forums.  There is a part of me that's totally rooting for you not to be scum but I'm still not sold.  Could you break down your reasoning for Sooh being scum again?

Now that I can look at the game with fresh eyes, I think since about page 29 Darthe seems much less scummy. I'm not going to add him to my solid town list ATP but I'll consider him null. Which is kinda bad since that leaves me without a solid scum read. Best I have are scum leans on Crush and Oscar, but I'm not at all sure on those. 

 

 

 

So here's what happened and you need some history to understand this one. I have not been wrong on iron eyes in a very long time. Like, maybe 2015-ish. Ever had a player that you knew their alignment based on their punctuation or verbage? It's that level of read.

 

This game, im just blah on him. I mention it, amd he has brought up my goat reads of him this past game and this one, and his response is to say that im overreacting and that him calling my read of him Goat level was a joke. He backs off of it, pulls a bit of sus from a couple of others, then cleans up his posts by getting less active and more wordy.

 

So its not much, and I could still move back on him, but it's something in a land where no one has done jack.

 

Btw I h8 u right now for making me drop my blase approach. It sucked, but it was different :/.

There could be other factors affecting your ability to read me--namely, me changing play styles. For one this is a smaller game, where it's easier to keep track of who is who. And for another thing. Last game you made an off-hand comment about how little I had developed as a player since I started playing Mafia. Well I didn’t like that, so I took a page out of your own book and decided to play differently this time. I figured it would get me lynched, but then again, I get lynched or nearly lynched day one in like half of the games I play because my natural play is scummy. 

 

Were that the case why would you fault me for reading you differently?

The wording of "I would like to be certain, but" seems almost like you want to keep Cuth in play and not lock him in, because then it'll be more difficult to reverse that read.

Actually I felt I need to go over what Cuth said one more time, which took the last hour.  I feel much more confident going with Cuth hard town.  I'm probably stagnant because I have to try and catch up on everyone all at once and it's hard to not just skim so I tend to rest on my previous opinions unless something really sticks out.

Tbh Wifi has been kind of a rollercoaster for me to read this game. She has certain posts where I go "That's SO Town Wifi", and certain ones where I go "Well that's not Wifi at all". 

 

But yes, right now that's the only specific thing I have for her trending down.

Wifi was grumpy and tired last night.  She was trying to download the game of thrones book set 1-5 from kindle app to reader. so, she could read it and it wouldn't work...just kept doing that @ thing minus the "a" .  It kind of pissed her off, just a little.    she might've got a little snappy

So, about sooh.  well her and darthe have been in like ALMOST all of my games. So, I feel like I know their "talk", so to speak.  and well they both seem scummy to me.  I have no definitive post or reasoning why per se.  It's just a feeling.

Well it wasn't until everyone started echoing it. Then I started thinking I might have gotten something right.

However, even though I named darthe and sooh as my wtl last night, I am not so sure this morning.  

 

You see I have just noticed something: I tend to think the same people are scum all the time.  esp. darthe.  though I have gotten better with him, take last game for example.

 

However, I start out sussing them until they prove beyond shadow of a doubt that they are town.  Sometimes that is too late.

 

I have more thoughts just Marinating over them...
