I'm really sorry you took that as a poke at you. It really wasn't intended to be that way and it was very bad wording on my part. 

 

I'll give you that we were reacting to only 3 or 4 votes. But in the moment I had no clue how many votes were on us, and it felt like a lot more. Especially because several people were kind of going at us at once whether they were voting us or not.

Okay so to explain this without AtE, just the facts:

 

1. I live in a nursing home

2. The CNA's leave @ 23:00 EDT (the ones that are supposed to get me ready for bed.  the night shift aides don't like getting me ready for bed and they do a shitey job of it, so.)

3. They do rounds @ 22:00

4. They have to do my nightly care the latest 21:30 which means that is my bedtime

5. I pushed the time so I could get caught up

6. I didn't want you all to think I was neglecting the thread by posting in the morning and then nothing for a whole nother day.

7. So, I posted the above to let you know:

 

A.  I was reading the thread throughout the whole day - minus meals/brb

B. That I finally did get caught up but couldn't post cause I had to go to bed

 

So, you are probably wondering what I am going to do now? right? 

 

Well I had a lot of thoughts last night, which I quickly forgot overnight.  Now don't go all nuts over that.  Who would remember 20 pages of stuff after sleeping all night?

 

Now: I am going to do a reread of maybe 20/30 pgs (which will take me awhile) to get caught up and then give my thoughts.

The conferring about Darthe and voting you is null in the sense that they are getting used to hydraing. Also Cass persuaded her to act alone fwiw.

 

They have been aggressive and defensive, but they have been attacked. Everyone is aggressive or defensive in that situation.

 

Train stalling at a few votes is a "maybe something's there" point, but not by itself. Also there was a lot of heat headed their way even if it wasn't backed by votes. I wouldn't say it was stalled.

Re Eldrick: I'm not sure yet. To me it's not so much a compare this game to the last exercise. I don't usually work that way. I have tried on occasion, but I tend to just get stuck on silly things and do a worse job reading people than I would just by taking current content into consideration. I would personally like to give Eldrick some more time, just because I feel like he's one I could read better over time. Of course it should have been plenty of time already, but I have to admit that I haven't been able to read this game as thoroughly and with as fine tooth comb as I probably should. So, I'm not sure if I agree or not yet. It is not a terrible analysis, I just don't know if I want to jump to any conclusions yet, seeing as we're talking about Eldrick.

If you want to see it as tacking onto other people's reasons, I can't stop you. All I did was point out why the reasons you sussed them were bad ones because they are null. That you are aware other people brought them up means you are ignoring it.
