I'm kind of null on you at the moment. Things are happening really fast and I haven't time to really dissect anything in my normal nerd fashion of word docs and spreadsheets.

Cuth, I feel like he's looking a bit better. He's getting around to answering questions. I'm really big on why answers, and the fact that he's answering them makes me feel okay about his posts. 

Darthe, I think he's stringing us up for lynch bait because he thinks he can. I don't really think it's alignment indicative for him, because of the games I've played with him I feel like he just does things to amuse himself.

This is a good post and is why I don't allow hydras at Jetnation. It creates way more to much think about than just a single player to read. Regardless of what Lizabeth has stated this post is a calm and rationale defense.

Ugh. That's gibberishy. Sorry I'm fighting an ear in fection and on my A-game.

What I was trying to say about Cuth was that he's giving his whys and not just this is town or this is scum. I like being able to understand people's train of thought, regardless of if I agree with it or not.

I should probably apologize in advance then lol. With recent discussions I hope we can get more people involved at least. If you all are town, I really need you to find some wolves because at the moment, your the best option imo.

 

 

What do you think we're doing? The questions we're asking are so people will actually seriously interact on D1. Finding scum isn't going to happen in the first how many hours of the game, usually. But we're trying to ask questions and see how people can respond so we can figure out for sure who is scum and who is not.

That is the issue I'm having with Lizabeth as I catch up. You are correct in its very difficult to find scum early hours of the game. So anything we do find, like lizabeth asking for players that are connected sticks out. Hard enough to find one scum virtually impossible to connect players that early. Nothing but confusion and guesses to make reading through the thread more difficult to do later. Adds no useable insight to the game.

Too many people have unvoted Kizzy - I get the part where we don't have a deadline and I do want to see game related posts from everyone before we hammer. But the now infamous post #309 (and subsequent defense of) needs pressure, especially in light of the account being hydra.

I checked the Guiness Book of World Records, and it turns out that the scummiest post a mafioso can make is in fact "so who do you think my scummates are?". 

 

Seriously, Lizbeth follows #309 up with one terrible response after another and then Mrs. Clov has to come in and do spin/damage control. But the common denominators connecting all of their posts seem to be:

 

1. Both players primary focus is to save their account - not to help the Town.

2. Both players beg for mercy at different points and use the clock in their defense.

3. Both players have offered very limited reads, and I am including Mrs. Cov's list. The fluff is there, but the hard lines are lacking. 

 

Ima leave it at that for now and see what else the tide brings in.

It's not a bad group to be in day 1.

That's where I am. A couple of things look opportunistic if liz flips town but otherwise he is golden atm

Tbh I cannot think of 1 I have misread him besides possibly my first 5 games here?. I have only played him as scum once I believe though where i had him nailed on d1 flipfloped a bit and came back to scum just to lose to him because i literally threw the game..... bad memories... very bad...

I would say 9/10. would say 10/10 but i don't remember my first games here with him really lol. and that just sounds cocky.

Can you accept that people play differently? Not everything is black and white and not every person who is town is going to follow a certain guideline, nor is someone who is scum. Just because you don't feel something should be done in a game as town, doesn't mean that everyone's going to feel that way. Liz and I are doing things that are going to try to get us intel, and we play for the long game not just a quick lynch on D1 and hope it's scum. So by saying who do you think is our scum team we can look at that person and figure out if we agree or disagree. I get what you all are saying about cases I really do. But how can we case anyone when you all are attacking us and not even giving us a chance. We've been on defense all day, and it's kind of hard to switch to offense when every other post we have to defend ourselves because someone doesn't agree with our playstyle.

This just sounds like a bad defense of Lizabeth. Nobody is arguing we all play differently. 100% True. This early in the game as town I can only read what people say and comment on if I find the reasoning congruent with my own ideas in fininding scum or not. No voting patterns and no flips and for me no meta as it it pertains to Lizabeth. I see nothing to be gained by a question that produces pure guesses and hypothetical what ifs at this point. Who do you think is scum? Who do you think is town? Those are questions that produce guesses that are usefull later on once more info is available. But this question in my opinion as town does nothing but take us away from finding scum.

I'm struggling to see what the issue is with that.

 

Pressure is relieved. MrsClov comes in with content. The way you word your post makes it sound like this should be a reason for her/them to be scummy, and I don't see it.

Cloviz- With no meta on Liz I got her solid as scum. Purely for the fact that regardless of now, mid game or later that question serves no purpose in town finding scum. I see it purely as a confusion and muddle the thread question. I also thought she got a little heated as she defended but without knowing her not willing to put much weight to it. * just got third breakfast, be back in a while, yay!*

Didn't see this on the first read through, but are you really doing this the game after doing it in Sooh's Basic game as scum?
