My sister is visiting this Xmas, and she has two kids. You'd never believe it, but kids can eat a surprising amount of cookies. Especially if they have candy on them!

I finished decorating my gingerbreads, well, a couple of days ago, which was my final baking project before Christmas!

For the Feast of Fools we'll be having a small story-writing contest, with the prize being... Well, there's no prize, really, except for the feeling of a job well done. Or the feeling of bring a smile to the face of your fellow DragonMounters. Or some other emotion. Who knows what your writing will stir up! At any rate, this will be a story continuation thread. At the bottom of this post I will begin a story by writing a single sentence, and the next poster will continue it by posting the next sentence of the story. And so on, and so forth. Please wait until at least one other person has posted before continuing the story yourself. Simple enough, yes? To start it all off: Mary had just arrived in Tar Valon, and was not surprised to see the streets packed with people for the Feast of Fools celebration.
