You are right but she didn't say anything about that before the suiced. She tried to protect him by not letting him go to the trial. That is why I thought it's the suicide that she meant was the betrayal. And that's just sick.

I hadn't thought of that.

I guess the betrayal might be leaving her after everything.

 

Kings Landing: Cersei has totally lost it. It was horrible when she said that Tommen had betrayed her. Ugh!

The High Sparrow made her do that walk of shame (not to mention what he did to his wife) and Tommen didn't lift a finger.

In fact he turned around and basically joined the person who did that to his mother, rewarding him with more power and authority.

Furthermore he was going to stand aside as she was "judged" and likely executed.

Not saying Cersei doesn't deserve all that and more but I can absolutely see how that seems like betrayal from her point of view.

I agree with Sansa. Out with the old and in with the new. There has to be consequences.

Surprised that no one mentioned that GRRM gave Westworld permission to have a Westeros world if they wanted it. I don’t think they are going to go in that direction, but thought it might be a fun way of bringing back Ned Stark, Robb Stark and other characters that have been offed in the prior 6 season.

I dunno, I would guess it's safe to lose them now. I think this forum could use some kind of consistent rule like spoiler tags must be used for the first month and episode/movie airs and then it's open season or something.

What will the second season tackle? How the hosts are recieved in the post-modern world? That would be cool, but a bit of a rehash of the "vampires amoung us" theme of True Blood (ie, how does human society react when we learn that we aren't alone).

Dolores turning out to be Wyatt. We had Bernard really be Arnold, William really be the Man in Black, do we really need another "X was really Y all along" twist? One is a good surprise, two is still interesting, three is beating the trope into the ground.

Damn that stupid Seal. I liked the Wingull pokemon that turns into the Pelican. So at least I didnt need 2 water pokemon.

I like Wingull but Peliper has a fat mouth. I prefer Ducklett and Swanna. Same type (water/flying) but much better looking. They aren't in Sun/Moon though unfortunately.

Actually I also have what is probably now somewhat rare event pokemon from Diamond/Pearl era. I have Shaymin, Regigigas, and Arceus as well as a few other things iirc.

I have been playing on and off when I have time since it came out (through 1st 2 islands).

 

Have not played since original red game. But, this has been fun.

 

I picked the terrible seal though and just benched it after its 1st evolution. I could not look at it anymore.

Best decision you could have made imo.

Ok so I've beat the games main storyline. My take is that it's the best set of games since Diamond & Pearl.

I played Black and X (didn't play Black 2) and both were...kind of meh for me. Not really sure what it was but I just kind of rushed through those games and after beating them never picked them up again. I think this one is different and I highly recommend it.

I don't want to spoil the story for those who want to be surprised so beware of opening this spoiler

Anyway if anyone has any questions about the game or if you want to battle or trade let me know.

Nol, have you seen the original movie from the '70s? Cindy and I watched it last week and thought it was good. I'd never seen it before, although she had.

 

 

One story aspect that has been left out of the show was that the amusement park has other settings besides the Old West. I'm wondering if the show intends to work them in someday.

 

I was aware of it but I have not watched it so I could be totally surprised and come into the show with no expectations.

It's been awhile since I've been able to do that so I'm enjoying the experience.

With Game of Thrones wrapping up in a few seasons this is slated to be HBO's next big thing.

If you haven't seen it yet the basic premise is sometime in the near future people built a huge "Western" theme park and filled it with lifelike robots.

So you can experience gun slinging, treasure hunting, whoring, saloon poker games and knife fights, etc, etc. If you can pay the price ($40,000/d).

Anthony Hopkins stars as the CEO and creator of the technology that made the robots possible and is playing his usual amazing Machiavellian bad guy.

I think it's extra. I don't think they're going to change up the gym battle/e4 storyline any time soon.

So, I wasn't even excited for this game.

Mostly because I don't have a 3DS but also...I am legitimately bored with the Pokemon story.

As much as I love the franchise I can only beat 8 gym leaders and an elite 4 so many times.

Not specifically Vulpix, although it's cool I guess, but just the prospect of certain pokemon being retyped as some kind of local variation has me intrigued. I don't even really know why since rom hackers have been doing this sort of thing for years but just thinking about the possibilities has me really excited to check this game out.

Anyone else looking forward to this?
