How can you vote someone, who´s posts you are not reading? Sure, others can quote stuff but you would probably miss a lot of posts anyway. And it seems like you are just trying to find a reason for voting Darthe. 

 

 

Let me get this right...

 

AJ/eldrick think darthe is best vote at the moment because of darthe's claim.

 

 

It is known that darthe is someone who would make this claim as town. It is possible but unlikely he could do it as wolf, and its possible but unlikely he would do it as the watcher.

I take it is known because darthe is a self admitted pot stirrer and the fact that nolder and several others aren't fans o darthe lends believability to this. As for why it is unlikely for him to do it as wolf, it doesn't follow logic for someone who has the self awareness to know he isn't everyone's favorite to do something to draw this much attention as wolf(though levels), and as a watcher its unlikley someone would just claim unless they are going for some sort of level trying to make wolves think he cant be watcher because he claimed.

 

 

So if the overwhelming result he is likely town, why does it make sense to vote him(darthe) at all?

 

I leave nolder out because he has some personal issue with darthe.

Bopolis, how many games have you played at DM?  Niniel's post plus your earlier post about our basic mechanics implies this is your first game at DM.

 

Your post, however, implies you've been around a while. I get where you can see that Nolder isn't a fan of him, but where did you get that others are not? I read their posts as this is just what Darthe does.

My brain and fingers betrayed me while I was typing because I was seeing Nolder's vote on Darthe and typed that while half asleep.

 

But let's follow that line of thought here. Do you think I did it on purpose? You put quotations around the word accident. What do I gain from pretending to make a mistake and then immediately fixing it? Are typos alignment indicative?

 

The fact I even have to ask these sort of questions is pretty silly.

I think this is a typical scum darthe move, as of late.  well as long as I have known him.  He claims a PR of some sort: whether it be post restriction or power role and then tries to stir the waters up.  Though to be honest I think he did do it in one game as town.  However I am NOT SURE.  IT was a long time ago.

Tbqf: I had left out the word "scum" in my first sentence when I wrote this originally.  Then I put in null. but then I remembered that he did it mostly as scum.  So, I settled on scum.  Then, I remembered that he did it as town. once, I think, that I knew of: Of course I don't play in every game he does and I don't keep up with all the games either.  

 

You see.  This is a game of lying.  I am not a good liar.  If I lie, I usually end up trying to tell the truth some how.  However, I love playing this game. So my wolfyness: was me trying to tell the truth.

Then when AJ said there could be more than two conclusions, I thought about it more and listed the ones I thought about.  I just got recaught up and read dricky's post and it does make sense to an extent.  However, darthe could do it as scum just because it would make him look town.

Claiming watcher and prompting discussion on it is the wolfiest thing so far.

Its the only thing to happen thus far.

The simplest answer is that you are both lying. It says nothing about your alignments that you guys claimed. Obviously at least one of you is lying.

 

My issue isn't with the claims themselves, but with that Darthe is prompting for us to discuss it.

Honestly, I like it. It cuts the D1 crap that always disinterests me in a game. Now that stuff is going down immediately I dont have to worry about catching up.

 

Whats struck me as off is Wildfires reaction as of page 3. She seems like shes straddling the fence and feeling out which direction, darthe is towny for the claim or darthe is wolfy for the claim, before committing to either direction. Like I dont think Eldrick is a wolf for his reaction, partly because he fully committed to his decision which I think a towny is more likely to do. Wildfire on the other hand, not so much

I am saying I corrected myself because I wasn't sure what the TOTAL TRUTH was.  I just know that:

 

1. Darthe has claimed a role D1 many times as wolf

2. I remember him as town claiming a role ONCE

3. I thought that saying "null" to something so blatantly out there, even on d1 would be bad...especially in regards to darthe....sorry darthe not a good idea for me because I almost always get in trouble for having too many null reads in past games.
