If verb flips scum, I am the obvious next choice. In that case, we will get that out of the way so you can focus on finding the last scum.

 

I am not switching to him because I believe it's Marsh, and I don't believe it's both.

 

I was the first to propose the idea to lynch me if verb is scum iirc. I want it on record to take a hard look at AJ and darthe for also going for that idea.

I don't like this reason. Like, at all.

 

Marsh and Nini are your bottom 2. Your vote makes sense.

 

But your reason boils down to "because it's not verb". You're voting to even the trains, which in essence gives verb a chance to live should nothing else change.

 

If you had voted Marsh because of your reason for suspecting him, there'd be no issue here.

It's not like he was the first one to bring up the watcher role in the game. You were ten minutes into the game. Granted, he was claiming it and you were drawing attention to how it's essentially our cop role.

I discussed how the setup differs from the norm.

Darthe brought attention to the role itself, and who is or isn't the watcher.

You claimed what I was doing was role fishing. What Darthe is doing is leagues closer to that, yet you have an issue with me and not him.

 

Yours rubbed me the wrong way because it seemed more like you were drawing attention to the role itself whereas Darthe's felt more like he was drawing attention to himself. I feel there is a difference there, especially considering if my memory serves me right, the one time I can remember playing with Darthe he was kind of out there early in the thread to get reactions/start discussions. He got a lot of heat for it and nearly got lynched because of it. Luckily, he wasn't lynched and was town and he and I ended up working pretty well together. So I'm giving him a little bit of slack for right now.

These along with her recent posts, I'm happy to have Linz in my town pile.

I feel like this is a decent reason for Lenlo to not be scum. Agreeing with Hally about an early read on someone. Risky move to make as a scum teammate imo.

 

The read itself feels too early to already be a thing, but that's just me.

I´ve read up to page 57 (so 13 pages left). Up until then I have not changed my mind about Lenlo, Marsh or Verbal, simply because they hadn´t been there and said anything that would change my mind.  I know that they have posted after that so I will see what I think of it.

 

What I have changed my mind about is my read on Eldrick. Both Bop and Dice pointed out that he went from not wanting to vote at all, to looking up Nolder after AJ voted him, and then voting him too. As Dice said, one of Eldrick´s reasons for voting Nolder was his focus on Darthe D1, but Eldrick had the same focus on Darthe D1. He changed his mind about Darthe after several players saying that they thought Hallia´s defense of Darthe was just buddying. 

 

Will continue to read and see what I think about Eld as I move on.

This has taken me a lot of time but now I´m finally done re-reading and taking notes. I don´t know if I have become any smarter though. :)

 

 

First my town reads:

 

AJ - He didn´t do much D2, compared to D1 but I still like most of his reasoning. As I said before, suspecting him for just being alive is not worth much unless you have other reasons for suspecting him and I don´t have that. 

 

MrsClov - Seems a bit lost? Trying to go in many directions, which might be good or not. Still, she is spending a lot of time trying to figure things out. Her vote on Hallia is in her favour.

 

Dice - His vote on Hallia is definitely giving him townie points. I like his posts about Eldrick, that I didn´t payed much attention to durin D2, since I wasn´t suspicious of Eldrick at the time. Now when I re-read I understood what he mean and I like the reasoning. Wish he were here more. 

 

Darthe - He has the same suspects as me, except for Marsh. I like his posts on Eldrick today. They pointed me in the same direction as Dice and Bopolis yesterday. Darthe, I know you don´t like my lists but I really wish you could do one. 

 

 

Over to my scum reads. Here it gets a lot trickier since those that I suspect all suspect each other. I have a hard time to see it clear. Like Verb and Marsh - I can see both as town but not together. I will have to ignore their connections/lack of connections right now.

 

Verb - Other than the D1 stuff that we have talked about before, I don´t like how he refers to me. Like when I asked a question to everyone, what the D2 trains would mean for Verb´s alignment. I meant it as an open question. But he says in #1309 that it´s a soft push and that I will use it today. Kind of a way of threatening me, like if I will keep suspecting him, I´m mafia? I don´t like how he throws shade (yes, I said it) on MrsClov. He says that he has a gut feeling, that she is going with the flow, and that she doesn´t like that she is making him look bad. He says that it doesn´t mean that she is scum but that she is a suspect. It feels like he is building up something to come back to later. I guess that is what AJ saw in him after D1. He is also one that brought up being suspicious of AJ and MrsClov just for being alive. 

 

Marsh - It´s the same reasons I had before, because of his D1 read on Hallia and voting Eldrick. I have no notes from him N1 and D2. I don´t really get the back and forth between him and Verb. He seems to think that Verb ignored him but I don´t think I get it. Darthe seems sure about him being town though. Meh. 

 

 

Okay, time is running out here. I´m going to a meeting in my daughter´s school in 15 minutes and I haven´t dressed yet. I will get back to Lenlo and Eldrick when I get back and vote then. I have two other appointments today but I think I will get the time between two of them.

You clearly don't know me very well. I almost never reread the whole thread, and go by memory for the most part. I ISO people that I need more info on, and try to reread when I'm stuck, but rarely finish.

Also my point was never that Nolder sussed Darthe. That suss made sense. My point was that he tried to take the focus away from Hally onto Darthe. Once we knew Hally was scum, that attempt looked bad.
