re monstrs core  he asked people he has meta with is how i looked at it and whose responses he was happy with. It is a common thing to ask opinions of people you are trusting or who are on the same wavelength as you.

Random had a good response to my vote and I already had some of his posts from before as slightly villagery I just can't remember them right now

 

I was up all night after being up all day after a 15 hour car ride and today I had two exams so I'm just wiped

He picked out about 5 names claiming them as his "town core" - for anyone not asked to weigh in, or not mentioned as the target of his question, that is alienating at this point. IMO

I get holding someone accountable for their reads.

 

I don't really get characterizing exclusion from those reads as some sort of isolation tactic. He either has a preliminary town core in his head or he's lying about the same, no?

Cool, having that explained 2 pages ago would've put this entire line of questions to rest. 

 

@Manbat - if you're truly having a terrible year, I'm sorry for that. I'm in this thread to play a game however, and having someone shut down when they get a little heat on them really doesn't help or look good. I'm not taking this or meaning it personally, but this entire game is built around lying, "playing" people, looking for tiny clues, and expanding on people you've never met with soft logic to try and win a game. Everything I say is in service of that. Sorry if that was taken as anything other than that.

I'm not saying it absolutely was or wasn't, but if I had come out and asked Dice, Zander, Shad, Nyn and Marsh what they felt about Notbob or Darthe, you can bet I'd be getting the same questions. Why them? That's all I wanted from this. If it was purely based on meta, fine, at least that was an answer.

Posts like these are why I have shad as a villager and not just cause he's defending me

 

He made a similar post about eldrick that came to many conclusions I had as well and he seems to be acting as a voice of reason

 

Also I am always on my phone on DM so I can't quote really unless it's there and I barely reread

Final thought for now - finally hearing from Dice and Manbat on the above issue is why I didn't want to vote him right away. Plus, it's still way early, and there's some valuable insight to be gained on others (his town read on Shad post caught my attention as well). I have to run some errands now that I'm off work, but I'll catch up in a little bit.

I have a rough picture of the thread in my head but we have a .003% chance of naming the correct wolfteam on d1 given perfect play so I'd put it at best 5% of the time that happens

 

Right now I am trying to foster unity through skeptical approach and I did that by forming a town core and asking THEM what they thought because I want the VILLAGE to decide the agenda, not the wolves

 

So I don't necessarily need to hear everyone's opinions about something at the current moment, since I'm more focused on clearing, interacting with, and expanding my villager core continuously throughout the thread

 

That's not to say I don't appreciate other's opinions and I won't read them, it just means that the weight of those in my town core by default is slightly higher, and we as a group have to decide who else to add to it

So if the town core wants to work with me, consider this the official first meeting where we scrutinize every member and decide who to take out and replace into a lower tier, as well as who we want to lynch first

 

If you accept, feel free to just blurt out whatever about anyone in the town core and why they should be replaced, but talk to THEM about it too because even if they're a wolf it forces them to work with us

I have liked dice's game so far. He has brought up a lot of good points and is being very engaging. Nyn is also town by way of hydra, but hasn't really proven it herself yet.

 

The way that random dealt with manbat's list just feels very towny to me.

 

I sussed manbat for his omission and how he dealt with random, but dice's explanation for why he did it makes a lot of sense. Back to null for now.
