Cass and Pral are more likely scum than Darthe is, but I'm not against lynching him. If one of those is town, I'd sub Darthe for them.

Setting up future lynches isn't really a new angle, and I'm not surprised to see it here. Makes me think that whichever way Eldrick wants to go we should go the other way today if it truly does come down to cass/laya.

Cass seems scummiest to me at the moment - she's focusing on changing Zanders read and ignoring most other questions. It reminds me a lot of how I treated Cory and/or Chris at different points in Spirited Away. I'm like 80% sure that it was Cass that was valuing Random's attempt of communication, so it seems 'odd' that she is so unconcerned with it. She seems to have contradicted herself in her Zander read (when she entered he was flat, now she values his enthusiasm and she hasn't explained the difference yet). She's been asking a lot of questions, but offering little opinion, I don't see the outcome of all the questions she's asked (desperately need to ISO). But, little things, I vaguely remember a conversation with Cory about Cass's occasional inability to make a decision and move on, but she's had suspects or at least a POE, I just don't recall reasons for them at the time.

 

Manbats entrance wasn't enough for me to town read him straight from it, his emotional posting seemed subdued

This is a big post to say that you don't think cass has done much, but the part of it I'm most critical of is the assertion that if zander is tunneling you you wouldnt address him. Thats such a bad reason to factor in, if youve ever been up against him at all.

His push on Sooh reads a lot like cheerleading, I can't logically disagree with his points, I just don't think it matters regards Eldrick, nor do I think Sooh has played safe this game. He's more involved than his recent town games, although I really don't want to scum read someone for being involved

 

I think he town read Shad early and easily? (but can't be sure I'm not mixing him up with someone else)

 

I can't clear him this game, but that may be a me thing

Who dont I read early and easy? Moreover, when im aiking at something I want (sock lynch) when dont I actively "cheerlead" that.

I don't know that either Zander or Sock are town and I've questioned both on the few things that don't make sense to me. But I'm at a point where I need a really good reason from my null, light reads (regardless of whether that's because they become obvious town so the POE shifts or a compelling case (that isn't just Eldrick says odd things sometimes)) to really reconsider Zander/Sock, as for the confidence, mostly driven by the difference between Day 1 and Day 3, by the time I joined Sooh was outside the mafia range I have for her (continued), Zander was outside the mafia range I have for him for the past year (it's been a long time since Matrix/Belichick/Besshydragame now), I don't know what Eldrick's range is, but he's not outside the town meta I have for him (albeit that's out-dated)

It is not about resolving your POE. Even when you have good town reads, I have seen you constantly revisit your reads. Especially in this game, where there is not a consensus among players, it is all the more important. And that is what I felt lacking in your posts and as you said, you pretty much go with the assumption that zander is town in all your posts.

Ok, why did you read Shad town?

 

Im pretty sure I had him as slight town, not hard town.  A hundred pages ago it's tough to be specific, but I can tell you Shad simply isn't someone I dismiss as a D1 lynch, I give him a bit of time usually.

Only game I've survived to Day 3 as town in the last 6 months was on PerC (technically the MU game we don't talk about). I read Celeste town Day 2 and didn't doubt her afterwards (after I tried to lynch her Day 1 ) I had Lily who I haven't played with as town early and didn't doubt her from earlyish either

 

I don't think I questioned my Day 1 Random read from Buffy much in thread

 

Sooh and Zander both have distinct top town ranges and both were in them when I joined the game, I don't really have much more to say. I will revisit the reads if given reason to and am still analysing their posts

First post - I'm trying to understand your thought process, at the moment I don't. You said if the choice was between Cass/Pral you'd lynch the opposite of Eldrick, but Cass is a strong town read of yours, so why is she even an option for you in that scenario?

 

Second - I didn't say Cass was wolfy for addressing Zander, I'm questioning the motivation for ignoring everyone else. I even bolded it for you

Dice; was null on Nyn. Dice was good in thread yesterday and rereading the first 50 pages there was more from him than I remember (e.g. intervening with Manbat to keep him interested in the game), his tone is direct. I have some issues with his read on Zander during Day 2 (? when he said Zander was improving, but didn't trust the motivation and was still scum because not obvious town or similar) but I have little context for this. I think in short he has sounded like town! Dice but I can't say he's out of mafia range and it bugs me to not have a stronger read by Day 3

I can't tell, because the times he has been mafia against me I've literally forgotten his presence in the game, but this game I remember things he has said and done, and I remember his stubbornness. It should <probably> make me town read him I guess.

In reality I'm probably having issues because he's been quieter this game than normal and that's probably null, I did like our interactions yesterday, he clearly has thoughts outside Zander, and as with the Manbat thing it could just be because I've missed them
