I just kind of think that when a player is under suspicion for their weak presence early in the game, they trend towards increased involvement more when their primary concern is missing out on being a part of a fun town core than when their concern is getting mislynched.

I don't think people sign up if they don't wanna play. They sign up and get overwhelmed, or continuously shut down, or have a down turn in their own mental state and that contributes to loss of WIM. I think we need to at least show empathy and not be hateful towards others when they lose their WIM like that. Something about catching more flies with honey than vinegar?

If you alienate everyone, you're not going to get any games started because nobody wants to play with each other. I don't see why encouraging others to be better and more excited about the game is so hard.

I disagree. There are plenty of people I don't get along with that I can land on town reading just fine and don't need to work with or get along with. Point in fact Salami, Alanna, Luthine, Turin or even you. It makes no difference to me. I still play the game and it's never bothered me any over the years, annoyance aside.

 

I still play with you too. But I have to prep myself to be shit on by you every time I play.
