Hey all, would anyone be opposed, after this next game, to a couple month rest so we can all get back in the groove of mafia? People seem bored with it and we could go with a few small turbos for bit to keep those who want to play entertained without sacrificing the games of people in que.

Seriously? 

 

Darthe is right, none of the games are filling up and it's just frustrating everyone that 1. We can't fill games and 2. The mods are becoming discouraged and not wanting to run them if they can't get it filled. 

 

I think we should limit ourselves to smaller games, or even turbos until excitement is back up again. Working on our attitudes towards each other would probably help too.

we've literally always had points where games would take 2-3 weeks to fills because regulars are busy with life / playing elsewhere (hydra championship series is still underway at MU which had 8+ of our regulars in it)

It shouldn't take more than a month to fill a game and threads shouldn't be going stagnant for weeks at a time with no signups. That's not really normal.

If this is about JS' game - large advanced games tend to not run that often

 

Nyn's game was up for 11 days and needed four to run but had to be cancelled for [life reasons]

 

Clov's game has been in signups for 6 days and is halfway full

This is why I don't come to this forum anymore I get turned into the enemy. I didn't even refer to you Nyn. I've been seeing games extremely slow to fill for a while now. It was an observation. I thought Darthe's comment had merit. I'm sorry I offended everyone and their mother.

Pretty sure if we stopped playing games would prolly fill more quickly....
