Just to clarify, it was not some sort of 'only effective on Mafia' ability. It was a straight 1x vig. I would assume that it's meant to be holstered for a scenario where day would start with 6 players, to allow him to shoot whoever to bring it to 5 and achieve wincon.

 

 

No he had an x1 ability that blocked scum from killing him.

 

 

I'd misread what you said as 1x Mafia Kill and 1x ability block.  Gotcha.

 

 

This is my concern with all the protect type claims.

His explanation in QT was that he didn't pick again to see if it always defaulted to Tel or if it could send him to the Stedding.

Here I think the role that commuted Kat (if it exists) could be used against a Doc.I think Darthe may be that role.If he is, and we lynch Kat first, the Doc's in danger.

I don't honestly understand how Darthe's role claim is any more indicative of being able to move players from one QT to the next than had dropped vanilla bloody town.I'm not defending Darthe here from a gameplay perspective but is your thought that scum!him decided to make up his own fake instead of using one of the four provided to his team?

How do we know what would've been provided and what wouldn't?

 

Is Commuter an unlikely safe claim?

 

I agree he's maybe no more likely based on his claim title to be the one with such a role, but call it YOLO due to his hedgy treatment of Kat and the wriggle room he's left around Halliand the way I think he'd play with that role.

Like I said yesterday, I don't see her scum based on how she voted D1. She had already suspected JS and could have voted JS instead of the much stronger Hellian. I don't see her as scum doing it.

 

I don't give much credence to the claim given that scum have fake claims. The only thing that stood out while I read the game is that JS called out Hallia as doc before she claimed it, based on just her character claim. I kinda felt as if JS had TMI - like he already knew she was a doc or had a doc claim but given the theme, it is not that surprising, I guess.

If Kat is town then Darthe is definitely scum using her as a convenient mislynch. If she is scum I'm willing to bet he is towb. I suppose he could still be bussing a partner as some sort of gambit. But with two of them dead already I just can't see that happening. I'd probably back off of him if she is scum.

If Darthe is scum Wifi doesn't look so good. She's brought up the one time she scummed with him a lot. If he's town I'm not at all sure what that means.

If there is a deep wolf I'm going with Tiinker probably. I know this may sound kind of dumb, but Tiink was the first to town read me, when I hadn't really done anything yet to deserve it. That whispered pocketing, but not loud enough for me to pay any attention to it. And then the Hellian train and JS and Believer kind of drove it out of my mind.

I don't hate Tiink for scum.

 

Still piecing it together but the bones are it's also interesting that Tiink COULD HAVE confirmed Halleh's claim on N1 but didn't. Excused himself to Shad with a 'my bad' 'maybe I can fix that tonight'... aaand IIRC he favours a WiFi/Kat lynch and is hedging on Darthe.

 

D1 he switches from Snow to Believer

N1 fails to track Halli

D2 he votes Darthe

N2 him and Darthe start sowing 'be wary of consensus Town, we're being duped!'

D3 the questioning of strong Town continues

and he hedges on Darthe, pushes at Wifi and Kat

 

I'm not solid on this (Tiink) and Zander still has a thing for Kat afaict but I've posted my Tiink thoughts and he's yet to respond

 

TLDR I feel like last scum are in Darthe/Tiink/Kat/Wifi

Can you explain the logic because I'm not following as much, probably because I haven't done a proper catch up, but we've got 1x tracker from Kat and commuter from Darthe and dead scum have had some ridiculously strong PRs. Wouldn't it make more sense for there to be strong town PRs to balance the game? That, or there's only 1 scum left.

I initially read Darthe's answer about going to the stedding and wanting to eat the NK with the two events related.

I can't commute others Cass, just me. If I could commute others I would have hard CC'd Hally.

 

I was in stedding because I again didn't submit. I wanted to get the NK since it was + ev at the time. Now, I've made sure to submit TEL

Interesting. Why would you have drawn a NK when you were one of the top trains for a lynch the day before?

The events are separate but imo still off.

 

He could have gone to TAR n2 and used his ability and I don't see how it's logical to think he'd draw the nk given where he was at ITT D2.

 

@Darthe - please explain how your role works and the motivation behind going to TAR tonight and night 1 but not N2.
