I honestly dont recall but have you historically read Wifi correctly?

I would say that's too soon to call and I need a normal wolf game out of her for a proper baseline. I thought she was the most obvious villager in JC aside from maybe you with your uncountered role claim out the gate, and I correctly leaned town on her last game but didn't feel as strongly about it. Not sure how that read would have developed because she died N1.

 

Suffice to say I think it will be really obvious to me when she's wolfing but I can't make that call until I see a dirty flip on her one of these days. BtW doesn't count as far as my ability to read her goes because I assumed everyone was a wolf from the get-go.

I fly back in a couple of days so I have to head out for a few hours to sort out some documents but I'll be back before the deadline. My lynch options for today are likely Wifi and Zander in that order but we need some input from the bottom 3 posters on what's happened in the past 24 hours. 

 

Curious cause Im not sure i recall you mentioning it, but wheres your read on me coming from?

The disparity in density level between your town and scum games is something I routinely look for. I struggle to see how your head naturally keeps walking this back to "Town!Shad should know I bus as a wolf" when my point is extremely explicitly that I feel Wifi would react different to being bussed and thus do not think she's being bussed.

 

A small handful of instances like this is ok but a trend over time probably means you're a wolf.

 

The rest of the post I snipped this from was fine. I still think lack of WIM/thread presence was a grossly exaggerated characterization but I recognize the cause for an initial ping on her.

Yes and no. If I didn't try to get a grasp on how people think until I had wolf meta to go on I'd be at a loss in half the games I play.

 

Wifi does not strike me as a person who would respond to being bussed the same as she would respond to being sussed as a villager.  I'm not sure she'd respond to being sussed by anyone as a wolf the way she would as a villager.  In a bussing situation I honestly think she might go "oh we're wolves so we're supposed to prove to the town we're wolves like villagers prove that they're villagers" and bus back for the wrong reasons or something.  I definitely think she would break from her established behavior patterns in some detectable way.  Here she just told you frankly why you were wrong.  Stuff like the "How can it be forced when I was laughing the whole time??" as if we should know by the fact that she typed LOL a bunch that she was in fact laughing is super transparent.  It's how she really thinks.  There was no awkwardness or uncomfortable feels in how she treated you.

 

I mean I guess it could have been a combo of sussed for the wrong reason and her honestly not realizing you were her team mate at the time.    It's a stretch but it wouldn't blow my mind any further than she already accomplishes a dozen times every game.

It could be just because you're posting more than others but I feel like I'm one of the only people here that's not so guided by meta. Well I'm still as confused about the Alanna and Kat exchange as I was yesterday. The point Alanna seemed to be making about Kat trying to get by with trying to appear contributive while not actually contributing doesn't seem accurate to me, but it's not a smoking gun.

Neither came out smelling like roses tbh and I just need to see more points.

 

In conclusion: idk, I could lynch the Hydra I guess.

Depending on how you're interpreting contributing, I really have a big problem with her statement.  I definitely don't think Kat contributed anything early on, but still made an effort to make it known she was following along.

Lainey called my posts fluff and me "trying to look like i'm contributing" I was letting everyone know i was here... that was all. It was in fact fluff and me not trying to contribute and maybe a little bit trying to diffuse the situation. Then I got annoyed lol... I wasn't "as wordy as I  usually am" because I didn't have anything to be wordy about? I mean... really. it was one thing I was harping on... I'm not going to write 5 paragraphs on it. When I actually get into the game and can make some good reads I'll be wordy lol... but until I have data there's nothing to talk about. 

 

Speaking of reads ya'll are a bunch of abrasive argumentative people this game aren't you.... how annoying is that... And btw being argumentative on D1 is not towny. it's just annoying and skews reads, so unless you are mafia and TRYING to skew reads by picking fights maybe you shouldn't (especially on D1) because normally it just moves everyone from honestly trying to figure people out to being defensive and shutting down and making it hard to read anyone. Also it will give mafia a good excuse to not say anything and then when you say "well why aren't you posting" they'll just say they weren't wanting to get in the middle of the fight and it gives them a perfect excuse to just sit back and watch and not implicate themselves in anyway.... it also discourages Town from posting and getting pulled into it and being implicated as well.
