Wifi wanting to silence someone who was sussing her is normal for her town game.

 

Wifi thinking no one would vote Zander or Halli because they were consensus towns in the last game is normal for her town game.

 

Being concerned about this and factoring it into who she wants to put the debuff on rather than just taking a simple route like "accidentally" voting the wrong person at first when she goes to vote later in the phase is plausible for her.

 

If she's a wolf, the excuse was beautiful.

 

She's probably just a villager.

 

Awkward caveat that if Cory is a villager he is probably who the wolves would use this on.

 

I might be looking at this wrong though.  I think it is extremely likely that she is telling the truth about her thought process.  Could she have the same process as a wolf?

 

I don't know that she'd care as much about being able to remove it?  QT convo more like "I want to use my ability on someone who's sussing me."  "Cory cory cory cory cory!!!"  ?  The whole thought process does not occur unless she is concerned about being able to remove it.

I fly back in a couple of days so I have to head out for a few hours to sort out some documents but I'll be back before the deadline. My lynch options for today are likely Wifi and Zander in that order but we need some input from the bottom 3 posters on what's happened in the past 24 hours.

I'm not willing to clarify as we have not lynched any wolves yet.  And like I said in above post if I told, I would be powerless and I am not willing to do that.

 

 

Basically the REASON for the vote was to save my skin because I am sick of being sussed d1 and NK or almost lynched/lynched.

 

My power works this way: I can only freeze one person at a time, to unfreeze that person must be [v] cory [/v] for, then I can freeze someone again.

 

The reason why I voted Cory: Zander is usually confirmed townie...and seemed to be heading that way and so did hallia (though I have started rereading SA and her meta this game looks very similiar and she was mafia then...just saying)so I figured no one would vote them.  I did not want to leave Cory voteless for the whole day so I figured someone would vote him or I would to take it off if we needed his vote for a lynch.

A lot of what you do is a little weird to me but your reasoning for voting Cory is off to me.

 

Wow.  This is a far cry from the happy GIF posty Zander Im use to.  Lot of pressure on a newbie.  At JN it was pretty typical of scum to push a newbie or a player that can't defend well and get them lynched.  When they flip town they blame them.  Not saying that is the case here but certainly reminds me of that.

2. Lenlo - Reinhardt = NULL - SLIGHTLY TOWNIE - giving out his role like that.  I think it was genuine.

3. Shad - D.Va = NULL - TOWNIE - he understands me. Has done a lot of investigating.

4. Hallia - Mercy = NULL - SCUMMY - her game here and SA are almost identical and she was scum in SA

5. Pralaya - Genji = SLIGHTLY TOWNIE - most of his posts were game related for so early in d1.

I can't read Wifi

 

Some of her posts sound villagery but it's so hard to gauge players reactions to early pushed - if they are wolves they get the heads up they are being suspected and can post themselves out of it

 

Like Hallia in Spirited Away game - she had a villagery d1 that got her through the game but i don't think it would have happened if Sili hadn't gone at her hard early with poor reasoning

 

Once a wolf is aware they are a target they can drastically change behavior quick whereas they won't otherwise

The disparity in density level between your town and scum games is something I routinely look for. I struggle to see how your head naturally keeps walking this back to "Town!Shad should know I bus as a wolf" when my point is extremely explicitly that I feel Wifi would react different to being bussed and thus do not think she's being bussed.

 

A small handful of instances like this is ok but a trend over time probably means you're a wolf.

 

The rest of the post I snipped this from was fine. I still think lack of WIM/thread presence was a grossly exaggerated characterization but I recognize the cause for an initial ping on her.

So youre basing that on something thats never happened before over my common Scum Meta?

I honestly dont recall but have you historically read Wifi correctly?

I would say that's too soon to call and I need a normal wolf game out of her for a proper baseline. I thought she was the most obvious villager in JC aside from maybe you with your uncountered role claim out the gate, and I correctly leaned town on her last game but didn't feel as strongly about it. Not sure how that read would have developed because she died N1.

 

Suffice to say I think it will be really obvious to me when she's wolfing but I can't make that call until I see a dirty flip on her one of these days. BtW doesn't count as far as my ability to read her goes because I assumed everyone was a wolf from the get-go.
