Zander if you let shad lynch me I will never forgive you.. I have been hinting far too long for the real doc not to have caught on and threw that out there. If there were another doc and I'm SK fake claiming and they don't catch it yesterday after i repeatedly said "I'M NOT GETTING LYNCHED" "I'M NOT WORRIED ABOUT A LYNCH" then they are the worst doc ever. All they had to say was, are you claiming doc?? cause "I'M DOC" and if i'm SK it's game over. Anyone that claims AFTER my hints and they helped mislynch is a liar.

Now that we have a minute or so to contemplate and congratulate ourselves for the nice win I'd like to take a second to explain.

 

I've been playing very much out of my own comfort zone this game. I'm normally very passive, very analytical and only post a read on someone when I'm very certain of that read.

I've been doing the opposite here because I felt I had to, given my role. Since I was given the power to confirm myself at any time during the game I knew that I could avoid any lynch. I was free to provoke any reactions I wanted without any backlash to town.

I know some of you have been upset by this playstyle and I completely understand why you would be, however I hope that you can see my reasoning now that the cat is out of the proverbial bag.

 

I never thought I'd last this long without revealing, but it was a good thing in the end.

 

Also a special sorry to Cass. I was being deliberately scummy yesterDay and during the night to avoid the SK kill, he'd think me an easy mislynch.

I wanted Shander to be safe aswell, but didn't think he would be. By killing a VT instead of a PR, the SK doomed him/herself mechanically.

The few times I've been mafia I don't claim PR, it's too easy to prove that i'm not. *shrugs* He's played with me and should be able to read me decently. If I get lynched it's one thing. The other person has been under suspicion and never hinted, would a doc claim make a lot of sense from either of them?

Kat, you're missing the mechanical picture. I believe pretty strongly that you are a villager. However, this is an open set-up. The game is mechanically locked. Opinions/reads are no longer a factor. The two remaining players will claim, and based on what they claim we will have full knowledge that the SK is one of two people. You could potentially be one of those two people. This does not make you the SK! It makes you one of only two possible SKs in a scenario where we can lynch two people.

@ Believer #2711 I used to villa like that when I started playing Mafia, and it was a lot of fun. I never got lynched for it because it was pretty effective at provoking weird reactions from the wolves.

 

I backed off of it a lot after my first wolf game because it proved really easy to replicate and no one here has really trusted that approach out of me since.
