Do you think I'm capable of subjecting her to the same or an even higher level of emotional manipulation as a wolf? Because if I was a wolf, that's what I would have done. The strong wolfread, the effort to actually get her to village read me by the end of the day, the push on her to get more involved... the huge focus I put on her slot all day phase long.

 

You know damn well that's something I couldn't do. Obviously I take these games seriously, but I couldn't pull the trigger on a strategy like that.

All I can really say about AJ is that he's someone I've always just had an inkling of how to read.

 

His wolf posts have more frills and panders to the crowd a bit more. In the Multiball game I unspoiled spec'd and called him out as a wolf confidently after only reading a handful of posts by him - BFG can confirm.

 

I can't remember any time I've specced him and been wrong, and he fooled me as a wolf exactly once IIRC (DBZ on VS).

 

We look for very similar things as a villagers so we tend to sync up.

Me and the masons voted next, putting the slot at 4 pretty quickly, but it was me and two confirmed villagers so it wasn't JARRING

I don't think it's really self-pres when it's 10+ to EOD, your wagon has stalled completely and there's discussion on whether or not to hammer the Zander/Laine wagon

i'm fairly simple. you just need to read inbetween the lines.

 

for instance, i'm not actually saying i'm going to nightfall him. that's hyperbole and a means to express my frustration.

 

though i may nightfall him anyway. it means to lock in your vote. but i'm usually not able to.

Wrong that we've had the conversations?  No.

 

Wrong about controlling the lynch?  I don't know - it depends on what I'm wanting to happen/how okay I am with what's happening.  If I need to force a mislynch myself as scum, I'll do it.  I'll sit back and watch if that's what suits me better.  

 

And it's not like I'm going to demand people listen to me as either, because I don't care enough as town and I'm smart enough as scum to know how to replicate a meta.

 

Though I don't know what exactly you're trying to say.

I fully buy it as self preservation.  I just don't think that's a positive point.  I don't think anybody lets Wildfire happen, and I think if Darthe was going to be a serious thing, it would have happened by then.  So it was basically her or Zalanna.  If she's town, she absolutely doesn't eat the lynch.  If she's mafia, she absolutely doesn't eat the lynch.

 

Regardless of what they had flipped, her VOTE should make her look no better/worse than she otherwise does IMO.
