I was perfectly happy townreading you up until last night

 

So yeah if you're town then people are playing games with my head, whether deliberately or not I don't know

If you dont see him as town itsit's the responsibility of others and not a reflection of his play or your reads? I dont get your thought processes at all Regy.

 

 

I saw him as town. I was given doubts, but have nothing firm that makes me scream he's mafia. I don't think his play has been that weird or distant from what I consider his town game to be.

 

If that isn't a clear thought process then I'm sorry but it's the one I had.

She was active and involved and made observations that would put her at odds with other people, which she tends to not do as a wolf much

And @Alanalynn, I think she's not trending down for you. What is it that is keeping your town read on her?

I'm still like 30 pages behind or something, so I'm not sure if she's dropped. Though I think her involvement earlier is enough to clear her for a while as long as her presence is sustained

It was Zalanna and Sili, but Sili got better and I mentioned Darthe trending down. So Zalanna, Darthe, and Kat.

I'm sorry, there's a lot going on. DM games are not only bigger than VS games but they're a lot more active, its very overwhelming but I am trying.

 

Did you specify what it was you like about Cory, Regy, and Seph? I agree with Sili doing better, but how has Darthe trended down for you? I found his activity while I was catching up to be a great improvement to his simply not being there the first day, and I thought he at least appeared to be trying to game solve. Zalanna has also trended up for me, Alanalynn's involvements has improved and I appreciated her insight. I can't even remember if Kat said anything yesterday, but I don't know if that's because she posted little or because nothing she said registered - why is Kat low for you?

My reads list had reasons. I responded in real times to things re:Darthe that led me to vote for him.

I'm unsure about Darthe since I haven't read most his posts. Kat is a good option even though my other head disagrees. She's had very few posts I actually like

I'm still wresting with the idea but we have time to work it out yet. I hate the idea of you being a wolf but that won't stop me.

 

Right now I am having to consider if I think your approach to this game is because you're struggling to balance your dislike of being a wolf with your gamesmanship of wanting to win and perform well with your team. Like I said already, your content on its face isn't bad, though I don't expect there'd be glaring discrepancies. And before we open the can of worms of "Cory is too good at wolfing to trust", that's not where I'm headed at all. It's not even something I'm really considering.

 

What I am struggling with is seeing what looks to be a disconnect on a philosophical level on your part. I get that you're emotional and that this silly game gets the better of us but the flux in your tone is really throwing me. You'll go from rah rah village to straight up acidic.

 

For example - "let's never play together again."

 

"You shouldn't play here anymore."

 

"You don't know how to play Mafia and everyone knows it."

 

Those are just a few. I don't really think those were reasonable reactions at all, and in response to your statement from this morning about not having room to work - I think that's exaggerated. People said you were different than usual, which tbh you should've expected considering you said you'd be doing different things. No one really made what I think is a legitimate negative comment about you until yesterday morning when Clov called out the mailbag spiel - which I think is perfectly acceptable.

I feel legitimately bad about what happened with SiRReN and I think both of us just got heated. I sort of saw red when she told me that the way I was conversing with BFG wasn't real gameplay considering stuff like that has always been my approach. It had zero to do with her read on me, and she can confirm that.

 

The stuff with Darthe, IDK, Darthe just has gotten severly on my nerves the last handful of games. I was irate at him for his play in the 90s game where he did nothing and then decided to lead a mislynch on the most obvious villager in the game over the wolf that was being suddenly lynched, etc.

 

I have long-standing issues with how he plays, as in the last three games I've modded here (he's been in all of them) I had to discipline him TWICE including a modkill. It's a source of frustration for me eternally.

I'm not USED to having my back to the wall all game for reasons I barely understand.

 

But if you want to lynch me for those events, I suggest not being wishy-washy about it

 

I will be rendered absolutely useless and probably whiny as hell if we just continue to monitor me in the "null-to-scum but should we do something about it?" territory. Either be brave enough to realize that despite my numerous faults and flaws I'm still a villager here or get it over with so I can detach from this game and get on with my life.
