It's also a bit mind-boggling that you're trusting a peek claim from a pretty obvious wolf who you were leading a charge on yesterday after you just lynched town!Dice when Zander pulled this exact same thing on him.

A'ight, so.  I'm home.  Dinner eaten.  I've been reading along with the game and even paying a little bit of attention since Darthe had been making noises about needing possible subs.  This morning it started looking pretty likely I was going to be asked to step in if Calder didn't turn up. so I made myself a little reads list based on gut feelings and snap reads.  This was before the end of night phase, so obviously a bit... out of date

Now that I'm officially in the game and we have a few more flips, I'll need to re-evaluate.  Celeste was obviously not mafia, and Sili not town, so I'm on par for my usual feeling like a moron early game.  Yayyyy me.

 

The read on Dice will probably make him curious - it was written down this morning, several hours before night end, well before he claimed role cop.  I'm a pretty GOAT Dice reader overall, and the times when I haven't known he was mafia right out of the gate, I've realized that I also wasn't absolutely sure he was town right off either.  And by end of D1, I wasn't sure he was town.  I was feeling pretty bad about Zander/Celeste, and Dice's argument against lynching the slot had me uncomfortable enough to put him on my bottom 3.  

 

Between that and the role cop claim, I'm still uncomfortable.  Role cop is nearly always a mafia role around these parts.  Shad's completely capable of fooling me, though, and I'm struggling to figure why Mafia!Dice would put himself in a position to be forced to claim.  Plus, the character claim is interesting. Meh.

 

Re-read of the thread with a little more attention to detail (and a lot more hard thought about the Shad/Dice situation) pending.  I may not have coherent ideas before morning.  Knowing Darthe, I may never be able to form coherent thoughts.

Its not, admittedly. Im lost atm. Really, im leaning towards you only abit. Youve got time to convince me of Dice and its entirely possible peer pressure will save you from me. But dude im just... im so lost right now.

Masons so far have all been third parties with multiple win conditions, if I'm recalling correctly. I'm not prepared to trust Dice on this, as the trend is suggesting there's more to this than meets the eye.

So Dice. Are you Masons with AJ? Kat? Are you all masons together? What? I think Kat and AJ were masons together, cause AJ really helped Kat do that CFD, thus getting her the win. I think bringing out your mason to confirm you would erase alot of peoples suspicions, my own included. Yes it targets them, but your already a target. Your already probably getting shot tonight if your telling the truth. Id like to have someone else cleared if possible.

Nope  my mason is still alive. You  can actually work out who my mason is if you want.  I dont want to just out them at this point  tho i admit i am tossing the idea around in my head.

 

Honestly, id rather not tinfoil this. IF you/they want to reveal, they can go ahead.  I decided ill trust you TODAY. And if Shad flips anything other then goon, im lynching you tomorrow.

 

I do think, my 2 Cents, that them revealing would be good. Would force wolves to target you and then your mason, otherwise giving us a confirmed towny.

We've been on the same page a lot this game and that's mainly revolved around our thoughts on Zander and Dice and our mutual town reads.

 

Wacky mechanics are revealed and now you want me to build a case on Dice for you.

 

But we built the case on Dice together. It hasn't changed and he's offered zero rebuttal except to claim a wolf peek on me and ignore both of us and everyone else who's lodged a challenging question at him.

 

I don't see where you would be partners with Dice after D1 and I also don't see how town!you forgets all of D1.  It's a good deal more extreme than Lost in so far as Dice was your top suspect in this game, and you've got that experience fresh in your memory banks regardless.  It doesn't make a bit of sense to me I have no idea what to make of you now because I got zero bus vibes from you yesterday but I don't understand how what you're saying right now makes one bit of sense in your head.  <_<

Lying as a Jester makes sense, get lynched win.

Telling the truth makes sense, towny duty.

Lying as wolf makes no sense, cause he always dies. Better to claim actual cop. Or Doc. Or a role that ISNT normally associated with wolves.

 

As for Lost, dude I dont even remember that game. I know we built the case on Dice, not really together, but at the same time. But then AJ my top town read flippsed Mason Jester Survivor. Which I guess isnt to wrong?

AJ obviously wasn't playing to his Jester wincon, and he traditionally plays Survivor as Town.  I'm not sure how to factor the mason bit into it, but I thought he was pretty villagery and it's probably because he was playing de facto villager.

 

But not getting the Lost parallel is weird dude.

 

Zander was an outed wolf.  He was about to get lynched and claimed a scum peek on kind-of-consensusish villager Dice.  You dropped the ball and lead the "test the claim" charge that got Dice lynched.  A game later Dice is wolfy as hell and about to get lynched and he claims a scum peek on a consensus villager.  There is nothing mysterious about this.

 

He could be a Jester.  He's not a villager.

If say atm its like.. 55/45 in favor of lynching you over Dice, so the margin of error could easily screw that up.

Zander was really scummy because he was a SK and he treated the slot like a wolf and he's been an obvious wolf lately.

 

Dice assumed Zander was a villager and talked about him like he was guaranteed to flip town because Dice is mafia and assumed Zander would flip town.  Like, he did this exact same thing with Sooh with the same out-of-game focus last time he randed wolf.  I thought it might be hard defending a team mate because Zander looked awful independently, but the pieces fit.
