I'm just trying to fake it til I make it, Nyn. Yes my enthusiasm is down this week, but I try not to let that affect me, but it is.

[v]Hallia[/v]

I think that was hammer, right? GL town.

That was L-1.

As much as it pains me to do so, but we need some resolution to continue chugging ahead.

Are you seriously not unvoting her after not only the post I had quoter recently but with the gl Town as well when she thought it was hammer???

This is a pretty gross post btw.

I will likely never vote Nyn this game.

You're gross

I'm allowed to feel bad about lynching someone like Hallia.

I'm ready to get on with it and there really isn't anything she's done that is going to change that. The claim doesn't, certainly. She's up to lynch for a reason and I have expressed numerous times that I would be okay going this route because I haven't had reason to group her with my townies. I want something concrete to work forward with and I think we've had a pretty decent D1 to build on.

If I had a PR Id resolve AJ tonight.

Like I was trying to be nice about it, but if you prefer I can do otherwise.

Frankly I see no reason to have you as a townie. Your claim doesn't save you, and even if you aren't lying, I am comfortable with losing you because you have become the object of attention and I find it more important to vet you than leave you as a question mark to pursue others on your wagon when in fact you could still be scum.

A lot of awful posts coming from AJ.

Hallia has been a suspect of mine all game but I dont think she'd ever make those 2 posts I quoted as Scum.

I have hard time believing you think that she would.

"Hindsight bias, also known as the knew-it-all-along effect or creeping determinism, is the inclination, after an event has occurred, to see the event as having been predictable, despite there having been little or no objective basis for predicting it."

Easy to criticize after the fact, Zander. Doubly hypocritical considering you were the one that continued to push Hallia as off her game since things moved into a serious state.

But I'll humor you anyway... tell me how that quote you made of Hallia is alignment indicative.

She only has bad weeks when she's town. or...?

It was the first day. No one really had any information, yet. No real leads. No strong reasons to vote one person over the other.

Hally seemed to be getting a lot of attention. Several people were deciding she was the way to go. Might even prove to be informative.

With five votes against her, she defended herself by saying she was Vanilla town, and then pointed out who she suspected.

People decided to lynch her anyway. Eldrick came over to flip over her card.

It was The Two of Hearts - Vanilla town

Im sorry I was too late getting back Hallia.  This is my bad.

No regrets here, tbh.

Just because I have the gonads to say plainly that even with her claim I was still okay lynching her doesn't make me scum. She needed to go, plain and simple. She had burned her equity as a villager and I really doubt at any point she would be fully trusted again, she was better off gone and vetted than alive and remaining a question mark. Just because I'm honest enough to say it aloud doesn't mean I scum.

Get out of here with that crap.

I'm half around (sorting out dinner), but I'm waiting for Zander mostly to weigh in before I decide.

I'd like to vote Hallia, but it seems she's in the middle of an ISO and I'll let her finish.

Vote Hallia

Why didnt you wait for at least Nyn who wanted to wait a bit before voting?

Posted

Nyn when I flip town will you please lead a lynch on him?

Im gonna see what Night brings and if Im still alive I will likely honor this.

Because Hallia wouldnt use that as a reason as Mafia imo plain and simple.

Hell dude she thought she was lynched and said gl Town FFS.

Using out of game reasoning to justify your extremely annoying hindsight bias (after you pushed Hallia all of D1) is incredibly terrible.

But you do you, bro.

Dude youre not even responding to what im saying just brushing it off...you were here at the time and didnt even comment on them.

You can try to shade me all you want.

I should've unvoted because she said "good luck town" ?

Terrible reason.

I should've unvoted because she said she was having a bad week?

Also terrible and zero correlation to her alignment.

Seriously dude - this after the fact, knight in shining armor shtick is really pathetic. My vote alone didn't lynch Hallia - I just had to the balls to plainly say that she needed to get lynched even if she was telling the truth with her claim.

Youre better then this brother.

I was admittedly wrong on my read early on.

I then did what Town is supposed to do and thats read the thread.

I think even if you werent familiar with Hallia (but you do have experience with her) you might not read too far into the out of game stuff but the gl Town was pretty obv stuff imo and you and Lily just blew right past it.

Your opinion doesn't make fact. Sorry to tell you. I stuck to my guns and I'll continue sticking to them now. I'm not happy with the result either, but it's not the worst possible outcome for D1. She needed to be resolved, and now we have resolution. But like I said, I'm not the only person to help lynch her. You're on the wagon as well, including several others. Her flip was important to get for this reason. Flipping town likely means that scum from both teams were on the wagon. If she had flipped scum, I would assume her partner wasn't. This is good info to have moving forward, so the hero spiel about saving her or whatever is really just corny, tbh man. It's a game after all, one that involves killing people and lying, and since apparently trying to be nice about it was 'gross' I'll just be a cold and hard Mofo from here on out. Her lynch was necessary so that others can solve, point blank.

Also, the "good luck town" stuff shouldn't be something that you base your viewpoint on because that is like 100% abuse-able.

As I've said, hindsight is always 20/20.

One of your points isn't relevant at all to this game, so I'm not even going to consider it. You should also drop it.

As far as the last post when she 'thought' she was hammered, it could've easily been on purpose. You're seriously trying to tell me you would've cleared her for that?

imo even if we had moved onto someone else, I don't think Hallia could've cleared herself through her own play. Her being on the table for so long was evidence enough of that. Evidence YOU lumped on, fyi.

Zander:

I almost unvoted her when she said good luck town. The reason I didn't:

Because I was afraid of being called scum for changing my vote at the last minute when I was so sure she was scum from virtually the beginning.

You all have me so scared, I am afraid to even sneeze wrong. I know it's part of the game: NOW, but I didn't in the beginning. It's supposed to be a game, yet it seems to get personal, imo.

I disagree with you completely and you did answer my question as to if you honestly thought HALLIA not someone in general but her specifically would make those posts as Scum.

Your avoidance in answering is pretty telling imo.

Also I really hate statements like "You better kill me" because now you've muddied the waters and more or less put on a target on both of our backs.

You end up dead and guess who gets the stink eye?
