Really id not sweat the bastard bit too much, its only garnered because I wanted to do a setup thats super experimental and needed to somehow inform folks that it's not gonna be the expected regime.

Sitting here at work I actually think I wanna remove the bastard element, not only because it pushes folks away but also because its just not gonna make the game more fun, it added challenge at the cost of tedium.
