it's becoming more difficult every game to really point someone out D1. I don't know if the players are getting better or if the townies are getting blinded somehow. 

 

It'd help if you could tell me (and the other players) who you think shouldn't be lynched D1.

 

Eldrick and Zander seem good to me so far. Besie and Seph is more of a feelz read. I'm not SUPER sure, but I think they're more likely town (explained why in previous posts). You and Shad I'm not touching either for #reasons. I'm having second thoughts about Kivam but i haven't made up my mind. Not sure how I feel about him going "oh okay" and moving to Halli. But I did like his earlier posts.

Thane, I'm sorry but if your expecting me to clear you on a soft claim/hint it just isn't going to happen. Especially if it is the only thing I think you were softing which is a mason claim with Shad. Reasons for my stance.

 

1.) It is getting close to DL and both of you are in the lynch pool and both of you have said that you may not be around for DL. so your claim later on isn't going to happen.

 

2.) Despite what people say Masons are a claim that mafia will make. They will usually wait as late as possible to actually make the claim though. sort of hinting about it until absolutely needed.

 

3.) Masons is a claim that can be made early as in many cases the mafia will be too busy cop/doc hunting to bother shooting the masons. Other possibility is that mafia decide to shoot both masons which gives the cop/doc free reign to do their jobs. 

 

Basically my take is either claim or don't. Hinting doesn't help us here.

Looked at Hallia. Only thing I didn't really like was when she asiad she would post a bunch from work and then didn't without explanation, but the recap came next day so no biggie I guess. I did like how her vote seemed to follow her thoughts in regard to Bessie. 

 

Thane, If your gonna push that soft claim then just go ahead and hard claim it and let Shad confirm and we can leave you to NA's to resolve. at least for a day or possibly two.

Basically my take on it too. Thane is asked to convince you he's town, and his response is to soft claim. I really didn't like that response. It was a dirty way to go about it.

i am purposely keeping seph null and will be just following others in regards to him. why? cause he is playing exactly like last game and last game he was town but it was so recent i think itd be easy for him to copy.

My take on it is that Thane wouldn't be dumb enough to soft claim something that Shad is going to refute anyhow (if he did, all the better for us... so Shad weighing in would be nice). And like Turin said, if NAs don't resolve this, then it can be revisited at a later time.

I know I haven't done any reads yet. I will break out my laptop later today (after some sleep) and do a reread. See what I can come up with.

 

Off the top of my head, I liked shad's initial entrance. It felt like someone who finally got town after a bunch of scum games. Haven't checked to see if his game stayed good yet.

 

I liked sili's game so far. I didn't like that he was getting flack for not posting when he hadn't even checked in yet, and am suspicious of those who pushed for a lynch on a spot that hadn't done anything yet. Effectively was a potential sub out.

 

It took me longer to get town vibes from seph, but I do feel that he's town. I don't like the votes piling up on him and would like some explanations.

 

Not sure if I agree with the zander/hally connection that besie is proposing. That if one is town, the other is scum. Why can't they both be town? Reeks of setting up mislynch.

Looks to me like under Kiv's consideration, Halli and Zander are like the new Verbal and Leelou, which is sort of accurate (minus the googly eyes). But him focusing on Zander without addressing Halli at all (at least, I don't remember he did) is a good point and I liked that Zander made it.

Agreed. Zander was around, so he was the one I picked to vote, to see how he reacted to pressure. I've generally liked his response - and genuinely dislike [v]Hally's[/v]. Maybe I'm wrong, but she is not coming across very genuine to me, and even when she is around she's really not doing the type of interacting I typically see from her as town. Zander is more in his normal town range, AFAICT on D1, so of the two I'll vote her.

 

Don't really have strong feelings on anyone as scum right now, so this is the best I've got. And now I'm out, and since it's a Friday, probably won't be back before deadline

Point was I don't like that he soft claimed Irt being asked to prove he's town, not what the soft claim was for.

 

That's not a good response to proving you're town. I'm most cases, all it does is make you a target for nk. And town still doesn't know any better about your alignment til you're dead.
