Ok, I have no clue why Thane is earning such strong town reads.

I like his tone. When do I ever not like his tone? It's Thane. I read Thane on two things: read progression and attitude under heavy fire. The latter isn't happening any time soon from the looks of things, and I'm not saying that it should.  The former is very minimal and I don't feel it's out of his scum range yet.

Link Plays nice with Dice (who is legitimately frustrated) and responds to Turin's post (There was no follow up and that's why I didn't see it ) His response to Turin basically is that Turin is interpreting it wrong and he didn't wolf read Dice. So I'm guessing it's just a wording issue, which looks worse for Turin at the moment because Turin would be looking for things like that when he knows Dice is going to flip wolf.

Okay we're getting into content posts now... I was under the impression he had none. Hm.
- defends Shad's eagerness to play
- has a null/light town read on Dice
- wants to give Dice time to get out of the frustration so that he can read him and "he doesn't do emo stuff as a wolf as far as I can remember"
- Sooh comes off as frustrated townie, would shoot Kat (in response to Cory's inquiry) because he didn't like her entrance and flake routine [Hi Thane <3]
- wants to hear from Dice what he's thinking
- comments he would doc Darthe (in response to who he woudl take out of Cory's list here)
- Can't hate this list: Reads
- Thinks Tina could be getting mis cleared and would lynch Dice or Sooh at this point

And that's it. Yes Thane started out a little fluffy but I don't see what Turin is saying by Thane being "all fluff" or whatever. I do think that Thane was legitimately giving Dice the benefit of the doubt during this day phase and that was natural but I didn't exactly see the natural progression that put Dice in his lower reads. For example, he said in this post that the points against Dice are valid but doesn't show the where or why or how or anything that give me that progression. He also comments that Sooh is odd but I don't see him providing many examples for that either and I would love to see some, pls?

 

Overall, I don't know why Thane is such a high read on some people's list and I expect more out of him right now. His tone matches up but his content leaves a little to be desired. I wouldn't characterize it as "floating" like Turin did but it could be better.

Thane's iso looks good. Like it or not, this is pretty much how he villages; there's actually a pretty noticeable trait he has in how he handles vocal players and suspects that differs from alignment to alignment.

 

If you know what his thought process looks like, you can see it pretty clearly.

Thane- Droped a little bit cause he did give a reads list of a few Townies earlier but then comes back and is just like its the same. But with no Scum suspects.  Also iirc wasnt on the Dice train.  He hasnt been scummy, I just have stronger Town reads atp.

Turin- Is Dice stance, his commit trying to discredit my read on Dice and Sooh but reading me Town for it.  And know factoring in the DADV thing which now no about could be TMI, or it could just be a read read.  But like Tina he was also Town reading Cory and myself and others maybe who were all voting Dice.

So the thing is I've not been around for a while and my last few efforts have been wildly inconsistent.  If you're looking for  something easy to chew or a good meta I'm probably not the guy.  But I know the game and that's what I'm working with here.  When I say Thane is town I say it based on the merit of his posts in their context, something that I just kind of get a feel for from people.  I can back this up to some extent with quotes and can refute some things but there are no notes and there's little recent history over here to work with, so tbh I'm not sure short of ISOing his body of work this game what it is that I'm going to give you to answer you atm Shad.
