I didn't play WoW. But giving scum extra powers throws off the balance. Basic is balanced because it's simple. Just those 2-3 roles.

if WoW was basis it was 1 RB 2 goons in a 13er.

Also, what motivation does Eld have to protect me if he were my team mate? 

 

Let's play this out. Let's go with Lily's story:

She views me as mafia. So we roleblock her to prevent any more views. Safe bet. But then Eld comes in to "protect" me which would just ensure his own lynch. So basically, in order to have a slim chance of silencing Lily assuming the lynch went through, we'd have had to decide to both basically commit suicide. Even if worked and Lily got lynched, she'd flip as cop and the next days Eld and I would both be dead. 

 

That doesn't make sense as a strategy. Lily is scum trying to force a lynch.
