I dont think he's Scum atp.  I dont really understand why people are so concerned with him atp.  Thane's one of those players that self resolve pretty quickly.  There's other players imo who have been much scummier thus far.

 

Im not saying he cant be Scum but I havent seen anything that would lead me to think that yet.

Tbh I'm doing my darndest here right now. I'm in several other games, and I'm also fighting now a perception of me that came about because I was sick and didn't read/remember/comprehend clearly. I have been trying to ignore Zander, but basically every time I try to ask a question about earlier posts I'm either ignored or can't get a straight answer because #lolscumtryingtomakeacase. I asked questions of Nyn, BFG, Thane and Turin, and so far all I can recall was Nyn responding.

Sorry Sooh, I skimmed a good 15 pages of the thread over the past couple of days to try and stay current

 

I remember an open question regarding Thane's early 'joke' post.

 

My initial thought was

 

Content wise it was completely weird and there was no way it could be serious. Tonewise it was serious, as were a lot of his early posts.

 

I left it as null, I have never seen Zander so uncomfortable in thread (including his first town and mafia game) and I found it very difficult to read him last game when he was defensive the entire day, so I wanted to give him time to 'settle' so to speak.

 

If there were more questions I'll find them tonight

thoughts on Sooh and Lily:

 

Sooh: at this point, i'm getting a 'frustrated townie' reading off of her. People are pointing out that they think she needs to be looked into, but i don't think that what she's posting is that bad.

 

For Lily: I'm a bit in doubt on her... What i get is that she's trying to convince players that she's town. Ok, it's what a townie should do to avoid lynching. But wolves would do the same in order to stay alive. Either she's having a hard time expressing herself and she's town, or she's struggling not to get caught up in lies. I'm not able to put here in one pile or the other at this point, we'll see what will happen.

Overall, i like Turin's involvement in the game. Questioning, poking, investigating. He's 99.9% town imo this game. When questioned, he does try to explain, in his best way, the point he wanted to make. 

Sooh: I don't know. I can't point a finger and say 'town' or 'wolf'. I'll give her some time to get better and perhaps I'll be able to read her better later on in the game.

Nolder: As i said, it's a feeling at the back of my mind when reading his posts this game. Spidey sense, sorta. It's not a full blown wolf-accusation yet, but he's on my radar for now

 

Making some early comments on people are a good sign.  Tho in hindsight is "spidey sense" comment on Nol is kinda suss but then again most everyone thought Nol was Scum and his Null on Sooh bothers me but thats more a personal thing cause Im sussing her,

So he made a bunch of posts about how he 'could' post at work, proceeded to be mostly absent and responded to you about 3 players. If they'd been unprompted I would have agreed, but I'm not giving credit for prompted 'work'

 

He was your strongest town read before he even made his reads post, I'm interested why?

I wish i could. I explained what reads i had in my post. The problem i have is the same as in every single game i play in: i need a flip, or two, to start connecting dots. I dislike D1, cause it's more or less shooting blind. I work with tone a lot early game. Also, i just had 3 hours of sleep after working all night, and I need coffee right now.

 

@Turin: I'd say it would be normal if I interact with the people I am online with at a certain time of day. Unfortunately, I can't stay awake 24/7 and interact with everybody. Sorry about that. *hands a cookie*

 

People linking Laine and Zander.... As far as I can tell, they interact well every single game they play in together, so I don't know if that would be a scumtell for either of them to be honest. The fact that players are commenting on it is interesting and should be kept in mind for a later stage in the game.

 

I'm not fit today, and have some errands to run (silly paperwork andpick up my new cosplay outfit) Feel like a trainwreck so probably not as active today. Trying to stay awake to not mess up my biorhythm completely is hard.

 

 

fwiw- thats a pretty true self assessment from Thane.

 

He laid at some no excuses post earlier that I commented on but Im not a big fan of excuses coming out but I know Thane away from the game and Ive also seen him do it as Town!Thane before.

 

 

I'm trying what i can this game, with the crazy schedule I have at work this week. Early shift, late shift, night shift in 3 days.It's messing with me, and i hope I'lll improve when i get a more regular pace at the job. It wouldn't surprise me, no.  But, i saw people posting their leans, didn't fully agree with them and felt like sharing my leans this game so people would (hopefully) know how I was feeling about the players.    

 

For Eldrick, without quotes: I don't like the tone of his game so far. I've mentioned him not paying attention twice (?) and I feel he's quite selective, if that makes sense. My spidey senses are tingling when I re-read his posts. Something is wrong here, but it'd be hard for me to point out a single or multiple posts at this point.

 

 

Thane giving reads prolly a good sign, I mean theres not a lot of meat to them but thats not really uncommon for Thane.

 

I agree with his comments on Eld but not a fan of the spidey senses usage again.

I think others players have been scummier then him.  And Thane is in no way shape or form ever a deep wolf candidate.  Like how many times has Thane been mislynched?

What does it matter if he's a 'deep wolf' candidate if he's a wolf? why on earth would I look for a 'deep wolf' before looking for the obvious wolves?
