I can't speak for AJ obviously, but I have mixed feelings on that.  On one hand, Bender flipping mafia would absolutely make him look better...but he really didn't have a choice on where to vote at that point.  And the way he just latched onto you is hard to imagine coming from a townie POV.

While I usually see stuff like that coming from "weak" Town or people who know they won't get caught up, I also see it from people who simply don't know where to vote. I think your earlier concern about how he should at least be Town reading the person he is sheeping is a stronger argument. But I sheeped Cory in that last game on the idea to shoot Pral despite a. thinking Pral was Town and b. thinking ory was scum because I thought it would tell me something about both so... *shrug?*

Sorry brother but you're not doing anything to make me feel better about my concerns.  You ignored my point about you leaving out AJ's peek while responding to stuff afterwards, your responses are seemingly coming off as nonchalant or brushing them aside instead of trying to help explain it out and address the actual concerns and it seems like you ARE role fishing.

It has nothing to do with him seeing me as being me.  It's him demonstrating the desire to discern my alignment.  He seemingly had something against me, he gave an explanation for what it was (weak as it may have been....I mean, it's not like we were halfway through day four or something), and he had a discussion with me about it.  Once I got more involved, he interacted with me more and seemingly adjusted.

 

Is he good enough to fake that?  Sure.  I said as much earlier.  But for where we're at in the game, why would I not associate town behavior with the person being town?

I'm also not sure where the tie-in to my game on VS comes in.  I played there before I ever played here.  Unless I'm overlooking something, I've only played one game on VS with AJ - and I was town (and he was mafia).

Nothing to do with you, I would expect Clov to react to statements similar to 'Clov being Clov' and him not reacting niggles if we interpreted what you said differently then that's fine

BFG, regardless of whatever you're feeling about me, I'm not getting lynched today.  This isn't me telling people to ignore me or not waste their time, but I'm not getting a 5 vote swing in the next 17 minutes with the amount of people here.

I said: "8 pages ago it wasn't a trend. 6 pages later it became a trend. So I quoted the most recent people to join the trend in order to address the trend in general.

 

I'm not sure how I can be more clear? Maybe I can give you a lazy answer like; I've played enough games with AJ that I feel comfortable letting him do what he's doing because I'm not worried about AJ providing proper cover? But while that's all true, that's not the actual reason.

 

He didn't mention my peek because obviously it's legit, and he also later explained that those two were most current.

It's the later. But the former works, too. It's not like I feel as though you or Clov need lessons on how to provide proper seer cover at this point in your mafia careers...

 

Zander claimed to have taken issue with my quoting of the two most recent "seer cover" posts but not including ALL previous peeks, specifically AJ's.

I told him I was just making a general point.

Zander accused me of dodging his point about ignoring AJ.

I explained that from my pov it was covered when I said I was trying to make a larger point wrt seer cover.
