Yates, out of curiosity why leave AJ off your village pile?

While Zander and Talya jumped on the idea hook, line, and sinker; AJ's response was notably more reserved. *MAYBE* he didn't jump on it because "integrity of the game" or "game solve too easy" or something like that. Or maybe he was pretending it was a good idea but secretly didn't jump on it because he went to the QT to sort it out. Point being he didn't jump. Zander and Talya did. So it's a null reaction from AJ vs overzealous derp Town reactions from Zander and Talya.

That said; I have no reason to believe AJ is not Town.

Do I need to be worried that you're not paying attention to your reaction test or feel like you're townie because you made one?

Your decision. You're the one that's been taking notes on my play in order to read me better. What do your notes and intuition tell you?

I have read Shad, he responded to an obvious post of Yates but missed lots of other stuff. Not sure responding to the obvious gets him a pass. What do you make off all the fluff in his posts?

theres a lot of fluff D1 with people still yet to post or have only done a few posts.  i feel Shad is playing the same way with what is available.  last game atp there was WAY WAY more to go off of and less filler posts and spam. I feel hes getting more comfortable with the people he;s playing with and he's still making good solid posts that make sense imo.  I mean look ay my progression, Ive been trending the same way.

tbh im liking Shad more as town then you atp.  your really into it but are you doing that to compensate for something?

yates test seemed jokey in nature yet he is calling poeple town off it.

How confident are you that I'm not just spinning my own derp theory into a "test?" I mean, you know I've been daddy day care all week and you know what sleep deprivation does to an addled brain. I guess I don't see what made it seem "jokey" outside of the fact that someone else later characterized it as possibly a joke?

I don't know, brother. I find myself siding with Lainey in her assessment of your play thus far...

REDACT above question. Just saw this...

About Dice, he was like that in the SW game, he seems to grasp something and go for the juglar, doesn't mean he is always right, but I haven't seen him do it when he was wolf.

Responding to these then I have to go :)

Stuff like Yates reaction test, there have been several instances where people have confused things people have said. I have Shad down as a 'fact checker' this is an easy game to do that in so far, so is he missing t, doesn't think it matters, doesn't care???

It's all little things, but so far he's liked AJ, myself, Thane and you for town (?). I haven't seen him find anything suspicious yet. I don't know if I can explain this yet, and part of it may be down to the difference between what he posts and the notes he has (some of which were shared on the QT last game)

His observations when he makes them are generally well thought out, it's just everything feels overworked(?)

Incidentally this is why I need Clov playing - so he can find the right words :(

*snip*

Torn on Shad and Yates. Not much opinion on others yet.

Not sure what you mean about Shad, What other stuff do you think he missed? Also missing where are the confusions?

I personally feels that Shad has been playing townish, His quite logical. I have never see him play wolf. So can't even comment on that. Atp he feels the same as last game.

As for fluff posts, i will check in ISO, but impressions are that he hasn't been any more than others in this game so far.

What does your test say for Shad and Andrej though?

Inconclusive? They are equally likely to just be critical thinkers as wolves. So they basically ended the test. But not before Talya and Zander derp cleared themselves, imo.

Except Shad pointed out the logic flaw, AJ initially stated that it was an AUTO win for town.

Do I need to be worried that you're not paying attention to your reaction test or feel like you're townie because you made one?

Whatcha thinking Andrej?

Like I said, mostly a hunch. I don't really understand his progression on BFG or the explanation he provided.

It also seems that he's more off topic than not (he isn't the only guilty one of this) but there have been places in the game where I feel like opportunities were there to make observations and he didn't. For instance, the Yates test and the Thane posts a few of us have commented on. I don't remember him saying anything about these and instead he's telling us about his house. Which is great and all but doesn't catch wolves.

Chatty because football and awesome explosions outside and I know some of you now.

Wolf Thane in Star Wars literally repeated the same four observations he made in the first 24 hours up until the moment he was lynched, while taking every opportunity to push things off topic.  He's already put out as much meaningful content as he did that entire game, and that's pretty promising.  I think if he's town it will become pretty obvious with time.

Talya's reaction to the no vote argument was promising.  She seemed to take it seriously and hop on board.  I can't give Zander a pass for it.  I think there's a decent chance he thought it was an obvious joke just like I did and played along.  I mean even if the rules did permit Yates' approach, it's not like we'd be granted a free win.  They'd be modified accordingly.  I think if Zander took it seriously he'd have investigated and seen that it was wrong, so null on his reply.

Yates test looks great for Talya because I think she sincerely bought it.

Maybe he's starting to like us and wants to be friends? I see what you mean, I suppose, but not getting the same hunch.

He does have good insight though, so if he's town, I'd like his thoughts on those topics

I agree. I remember seeing a lot of his posts that I really liked while I was powering through D1 of the Star Wars game. Going back to the progression on BFG I don't really see how the observation she made that he's town reading her for would come exclusively from a vlllager. We were only a few pages into the game at that point so BFG fact checking his reason for reading me wouldn't be hard to do as either alignment. Now he's saying something about how he knew the observation was false (so by proxy so was his read on me?) but he left it anyway to see who would bite. Doesn't make a ton of sense to me and from what I've seen he's typically very astute. Idk - maybe he can clear this up a bit.

I don't know him well enough to say he's a slow starter either and I can't fault him too heavily for being off topic as a lot of us have been but again I think he's missed some talking points when they were available.

I said I liked you.  You asked why.  I said "It's the slowest start of the three games I've been in, and most wolves don't mind that one bit.  You're already asking questions."

Did I initially like you because you were trying to pick up the pace, or because you were asking questions?  The former is (potentially) true.  The latter is necessarily a lie.  Are scum trying to figure out who is lying?  They are assuming I'm telling the truth, so they instinctively interpret the statement in the sense in which it is true.  That is: "I like you because you are trying to pick up the pace.  For example: you just asked me a question."  Or they assume you did ask other questions and do not investigate such a trivial matter.  Or they pounce on my apparent error to incriminate me, or let the whole thing slide because they might come out the worse for wear.

Do they cautiously ask for clarification in the hopes that I say something outlandish and dig myself a hole?  Maybe a small minority do, but the path of least resistance says BFG is probably town.

BFG: I still don't understand why you're grumpy. lol I need to stop drinking.

I can't believe I'm still hated.

I don't hate you! You just don't like lots of the good things in life, like tomatoes or strawberries :(

Regarding Shad, there's something I'm not sure about at the moment, I feel like he's not paying attention or something and that worries me somewhat.

<3 Shad

I'm so down

LEAVE ALANNA ALONEEEEEE

Thank youuuuu

@Laine - Disappoint because you're bashing on my favorite beverage

Maybe a little bashing. I also don't like chocolate ice cream, tomatoes, oranges (they make my skin break out), cherries, watermelon, and an assortment of other random things including people and going outside.

This plus bacon and anything smoked or grilled and you have listed my favorite things. Die, scum.

I LOVE BACON

Mostly the things I don't like are because of consistency or acidity. Thinks like oranges and tomatoes literally give me rashes. Anything too seedy also makes me squirmish

obviously crawling for town cred

unvote vote LAine

Aggressive town Dice or just angry Dice?

goodmorning all *has coffee and distributes where necessary*

Alanna: i tend to ping all the time, it has gotten me mislynched quite a few times. But it's how i play. If someone townreads me D1, that player is suspicious to me.

BFG: Happy to see you! Very nice entrance. I noticed you saw me mentioning Verb and Pral and me not wanting to lynch them. I don't, they need to play first. As far as lynching goes: the prime suspect would give most information, and personally i don't feel like there's a lot of diffirence between lynching a likely wolf and an infolynch. After all: you lynch suspects to get to a wolf, all the time.

Dice: wow, didn't think you would be in. and some post it is.... interesting.

Hi :) still a good entrance if I point out I posted Friday, and that Laine was the one asking about Pral/Verb at that point?

^ this was going to be my second point. I feel like I sometimes understand Andrej. Other times I want to kick him in the head.

That's not very nice.

you see how bad your read on Shad looks through this progression right.

On phone so won't quote.

Regarding Shad, I'm not saying he's not reading the thread, I'm saying I don't think he's paying attention. Yates reaction 'test' was an obvious thing to comment on, Yates later said that AJ and Shad debunked it. AJ didn't, he said it would be an autowin for town although he thought it was against the spirit of the game. So far I haven't seen anyone else comment about it, Shad is someone I would expect to notice, comment, question that, especially considering it's Yates after last game.

Pointing out the obvious flaw in Yates argument is obvious, the stuff Shad isn't commenting on is what's 'worrying' me.

Off the top of my head Thane has mixed up me and Laine already, I think I remember Shad posting soon after. I think I remember more, but will have to go back to give examples, won't be till tonight, maybe tomorrow.

And maybe my expectations are wrong /shrug

He's also made good points, his read on Thane is good, but I don't think I've ever read every post somebody makes and think they're ALL bad or all good.

Which is pretty much why I've been saying I'm torn.

Either way I'll get a better read when he comes back into thread.

@Zander lol you're not even the first person in this thread to think I'm 'trying to compensate for somethi

Star Wars Yates never made posts like these.  Could just be the consequence of a slower game, but I'm happy.
