There are any number of reasons outside of your play alone that would cause me to question it. If you are VT and fake claiming to save your own skin, I need you to recognize that this is a very bad plan.

1st - there's likely only 1 scum left. So that should remove Sili and I from the poe pool EVEN IF Sili wasn't glaringly obv Town already.

 

2nd - You are wrong. This is an advanced game and your plan is a recipe for disaster. The last scum is almost assuredly Darthe Vader. Chances of Darthe Vader being goon are pretty much nil. My guess is he's a redirector. So let's say you lynch one of us AND Heart is telling the truth. Heart's protect gets redirected - probably onto themselves permanently as protection against vig/SK. You get killed. If we have an SK one of the conf Town goes down. Heart automatically eats rope tomorrow. Bang Bang. You just screwed Town.

 

3rd - Take claims out of it, since scum have been mod confirmed to have fake claims. Look at the three lynches. MORE IMPORTANT THAN JUST THE VOTE COUNT - look at who drove them. Sili is ALWAYS Town here.

Okay. As far as Heart being doc? You all realize we already have a proven phoenix, right? And now we have claims of tree stump and commuter? Even removing our mason roles for a minute, there's zero chance we have a doc + tree stump + commuter + phoenix. Those are all essentially unkillable roles.

 

AND - the problem with the plan to kill a mason to prove the other is:

1. It's not scum hunting. It's information hunting.

2. The last scum is almost certainly Vader. And Vader isn't going to be a goon.

 

One other thing I wanted to address; claims are claims. Whatever. I agree that you should lynch based on play. Sili wasn't in the poe until he took one for the team to help me out. I think he's pretty obv Town. He DROVE the lynches on Verb and Sooh. He wasn't just sheeping. He's been game solving. AND - for those of you who know Sili meta - volume *is* a Town tell for Sili. Sili scum doesn't know how to post his thoughts without neutering himself. Conversely, I feel like Heart is getting by on her CLAIM not her play. Doc is about as obvious a fake claim as cop for scum about to be crushed. You saw this with Verb. See it now.

Seph I told you from the beginning I was gonna ride you. There really isn't much else to consider imo.

 

Seeing all the claims and knowing my role, I don't think Heart is the doc. I didn't really believe she was when she first claimed because of the situation and sketchy reasoning around missing obvious protects.

 

She hasn't done anything to change my mind and her posts in defense sound like a caught wolf. That one she did with the Princess Bride wifom guy picture was legit bad.

Say again what he lesson learned was from that game?  Specifically what towns should learn?  Probably best relegated to end game...but I have my own thoughts...and right now I'm seeing something similar.

Not the USUAL way it is here but i have had that. It doesnt however mean Heart is not a doctor on its own.

Makes sense to me. There doesn't HAVE to be a doc and I think you should know that. Look at the claimed roles.

 

Masons that can confirm each other.

Phoenix/Stump who dies and is confirmed.

Cop who confirms players.

Back up Cop (this one is important when looking at the likelihood of a doc)

Commuter (self protect, basically)

 

Look at all those roles that will be confirmed town in one way or another then add in the fact the cop has a deputy in case they die.

 

Doc doesn't fit.

 

I think the town was built to have as many cleared players possible during the Day phase to make lynches more correct but then at Night there shouldn't be anything to keep the wolves from killing them. Way OP if there's a doc imo

I liked Leelou as an alternative lynch to Dice, so I stayed on her, especially since no one else was interested in lynching dice.

I actively fought the Laine lynch that day, as I knew that much of her lynch was based on something false.

People took issue with what I thought was "likely," but I have already explained that I couldn't remember much of the janitor role, my sleepy brain said "Fett" when I read that scene, and I'd been responding to Shad's doc-idea comment (which, as the doc, I knew to not be the case) not the janitor post that had ninja'd me.

I have done my best to protect my role through self protects, pretending I didn't know who the doc was, and through sticking my neck out a bit less than I would otherwise. Some might twist this to make me look scummy, but I did it as the doc.

My activity hasn't been high, but that isn't unusual for me, and I have been doing my best to still have my thoughts known; I have pointed out people I thought were townie and scummy, and while a few have been wrong, a great many have been right. 

As a VT, I wouldn't be making this claim simply to stay alive. Town winning the game is far more important than my making it to end game. At this point, I have exposed my weakness, and my days are numbered no matter what. They either kill me tonight or I likely get lynched tomorrow because I'm still alive. However, with that one more night, I can at least ensure that someone else makes it one more day (assuming redirect isn't a thing...), so I'd rather not get lynched today.

 

Some of you will take all of this with a grain of salt, and that is understandable. I have done what I can, have given my thoughts, and it's up to the rest of you now. I just want us to make sure we focus on catching scum today, not simply clearing people. 

If you truly think I am the most likely to be scum, do what you must.

If you truly think that Sili/Yates are scum, then I can consider that, as long as we think they are the scummiest, and we aren't just lynching one to clear the other. 

Also look at other players now, just to make sure one of them isn't being overlooked and is actually the scummiest.
