I want verbal to respond but looks like it. Thane isnt doing the best of jobs fighting.

He never does. That doesn't make him mafia. Unfortunately there's not much to go on with him... this weekend absence doesn't help.

I don't have a scum read on Verbal and I tend to catch him. I don't have a town read either though.

 

I had a clear Town read on Verbal in your game. I don't this game. That combined with everything else is suspicious.

 

Yup, I don't see that town!Verbal here either. I usually catch scum!Verbal D1 though. I'll focus on him in my reread. In the meantime, we should try and engage Thane. Please note that to be able to read him, you need to make him feel comfortable and relaxed and chat with him.

 

 

The Verbal I remember from Alien has definitely not shown up to this game.  The fact that he put Leelou high on his clear chart without any explanation of the existing concerns about her does not fit.  Maybe he just wasn't paying much attention to the thread, but then he shouldn't have had strong reads yet.  Meh.  In my other game with him he gave very solid explanations for what he was doing any time his actions might be in doubt.  In D1 he just... did things.  It made me suspicious of him before Leelou ever flipped.

seems the way to go,  Thane not helping case.  and fyi id probably lynch Csarmi before Yates atp.

 

 

I remember someone saying early in the game that Csarmi's the sort of player who can destroy a town from within.  I haven't seen much to make me think he's wolf yet.

 

 

so you dont think Csarmi could be a wolf on Indy?

I don't have a strong grasp of independent roles yet really.  Haven't seen much to make me think he's scum, but I'm basing a lot off other people's understanding of his oddities.  He made a post shortly after Leelou flipped that sat really well with me at the time, can dig it up later.

others people's understanding is the only reason my votes not there now.  well that and the fact Thaneballs lynch is gonna happen todat imo. but don't dismiss either of these possibilities here of him being wolf or INdy.

I should have said "the sort of town player".  Clarifying that.

I care about CATCHING WOLVES.

Zander the only people who care what others think are wolves. If you are town you want of course to stay alive, but you bring info to the town, it isnt the end if you die. You shouldn't look at it as a bad thing if you get mislynched.

 

Wolves are worried about their image because there goal is to stay alive. It's their main purpose and they will usually have a agenda, and when wolves with every wolf death they are closer to.outing their teamates. It's one thing i am working on figuring out how to look for currently, but this is my opinion here imo.

 

And I think it trends you down a bit for me. I remember you asking everyone thoughts on you day 1, and it felt weird. I still have you as town but just cautious.

L-2 already?  Toeing the line of too wolfy to NK and too villagery to lynch is hard sometimes.  This is one of those times.

I'm not 100% on AJ/Womby - D1 I thought AJ was wolf, he has risen now. And D2 I was getting a slight townie feeling. I believe it was Womby that started the wagon on Alanna before EOD. Which made me wonder at the time. But if Womby was wolf, why not go for AH's lynch, this was after all, their godfather, as that stood a greater chance of beating Leelou. Although there was a lot of back and forth with votes at the time. Something to store for later if needed.

I'm going to bang Zanders and CS's heads to together, it's like being back in the playground.

 

I don't know what alignment CS is I'm leaning him town because of his claim for the moment. If you have something else. Then maybe articulate it so that we can all read what you have and see if we can see why you might think the other maybe wolf. For the moment Indies can wait.

 

I would be happy for a thaneballs lynch at present, but I'm not putting him so close to Lynch until they have a had a chance to catch up on thread.

i dont see how being mislynched as town by playing badly or weird really helps town unless there wolves on the train THAT others pick up on.

@both of you - I was VT in those 2 games.  If you knew I was a villager here, how would you explain the difference in my play and explanations (or lack thereof)?

im saying i dont see you as Town!Verb in this game as I did in ME.  not too mention the inactivity ( i know you dont play on weekends but still) and your consistent and early Leelou town read.

Good enough places to start.  What comes to mind?

 

 

First off, the Leelou lynch came out of nowhere.  Her light banter and relaxed style gave me early village vibes.  She wasn't forcing herself to post @ me, and didn't throw out a tidbit of suspicion.  I always see scum!Leelou hedge on a read of me D1 when she's a wolf and I'm a villager.  Always.

 

I didn't see that here, so I was early townreading her as a result.  She caught flak for harping on AH during D1, and never really shrunk back from it.  She altered her scum game here enough to fool me early on.  Would I have eventually noticed?  Maybe, maybe not.  I don't particularly care for how people will FoS me for not identifying a scum!Leelou right out of the gates on D1.

 

For those folks saying I was a major lynch contender before Leelou was lynched, I say you're full of it.  Sure, I got some heat, and a vote or two, but nothing major.  Once she flipped wolf, all eyes turned to me.....then the cases started coming.
