When Kaylee and I were looking to learn about modding, we talked to BG (Fair Enough™) and he started a QT with us before his next game began where he went through everything... about how he decided on the setup, matched the characters from his theme to the roles, how he constructed role PMs, how to randomize roles, and also continued with us behind the scenes of the game, how night actions were received and resolved, etc.

 

It was a very good experience IMO and really prepared us for our first modding experience.  Kaylee and I are going to need every player we can get for our next game in the advanced queue or I'd offer to bring you in on it - but starting with a basic would probably be better anyway.  If you haven't gotten comod experience beforehand, go volunteer in the signup thread for the Blue event in July - I'm modding a basic Harry Potter game and you can get WT participation credit being my comod
