fwiw the one thing i had a real problem with was that modtroll post on d1 where Yates said "and i'll be giving the seer their n0 peek when d1 starts"

 

which probably had no effect on the game but had the potential to do serious damage to villager seer cover

 

darthe defused it pretty well, but a savvy wolf (of which we had 3 of in this game) would have known kaylee and tress couldn't be seer by default because they believed yates was telling the truth and "modified" their cover to fit his

 

i know this can be "worked around" but it's still the mod influencing the game in a way that's ultimately pro-wolf for his own amusement / amusement of DT

 

just a reminder that players playing this silly internet mafia game put a lot of time and investment and don't have perfect information and sometimes do not get a "joke" that might seem obvious to the moderator, so it's probably for the best to try not to spew anything as a moderator JIC

Sorry about the last second troll. I did that completely for my own amusement because, honestly, this Town performed at such a high level that the scum team never had a chance. This was an excellent game for me to read and one I will refer back to often when trying to explain how to create a Town core and to get people to work together to find actual scum.

 

I would like to thank all of you for making my first game modding so enjoyable and am pleased as punch at the effort and activity level of every person in the game. I'm really proud of this player base.

 

Cass? You get a special shout out. When I saw you rolled scum AGAIN I *almost* convinced myself to just reroll. I think you put in about as much effort as you possibly could, did a great job of escaping the noose on Day 1 and played a solid game throughout. I was happy to see the fight in you right up until the end. Respect.

 

Top part is hopefully what I learnt.

Now I just need to become as clairvoyant as Cory and some of the rest of you who busted out perfect PoE straight up...

Well, in my PM Yates gave me my peek in the middle of N0. He said he was originally going to give it to me start of D1.

I would also like to point out that Leelou had good peeks. She removed wifom on Cory and would have cleared Clov. I think the n0 random Town peek on Dice was also extremely pro Town, as it turned out, and really changed the complexion of the game and limited what the scum could do. They killed the seer on n2. And that's about as good of an outcome as you can hope for.

Honestly I'm glad Leelou was the seer and not Tress like I was starting to think. Wombat flipping wolf helped a lot, obviously, but the blue peek on you finally allowed me to let go

 

I guess I'm still dealing with emotional trauma from that VS game lol

Yup. I had to give it to her early because of the Vegas trip.

 

I wasn't expecting people to start dropping seer cover and voting before game start. That was supposed to be a reminder that the game hadn't started yet...

I figured the peek wouldn't come until D1 started which is why I kept pushing the idea to wait for cover. I sort of hoped it would make it seem like I was the seer who knew I hadn't received it yet but meh.

The Cory peek ruined us.  I was even planning in the QT and not realizing she had peeked him because I wasn't paying enough attention.

Totally agree.  I'm up in the mod queue soon, and I was thinking about maybe modding this setup as well.  We'll see, but I do agree they are awesome games.
