You weren't available, and yet you still came in and had SOME sort of interaction with people.  You gave SOME sort of thoughts.  Not a ton, but you didn't demonstrate that you were reading the thread and choosing not to play.

I don't fault you for defending your peek. But you're not. You're saying I'm your strongest suspect for pushing somebody who has literally done nothing pro-town all game. You can say my push was easy - and honestly, I'm not inclined to disagree - but all he'd done to that point is drop in to vote the consensus mafia.

Literally no other thoughts on the game at all. That's not town behavior.

 

Then why do you have Tress as null?  Her only game related content was a town read on Darthe. Didn't vote either.

Wombat- Didn't see a reason for the AJ vote it on Tress. I know it's Wombat but still. In This post you say you're WTL Sooh, yet earlier you didn't like her train and it was a "thin" wagon. What changed? You mention you don't like her AtE and then ask her if she meant gut instead of soul read... make the anti-spew comment and the next comment on her is your WTL. Just seems like up to that point there's things you don't like about how she's posting. Ok i get that. Does that mean you no longer find her wagon thin?

Would put you in the Null pile for now. I tend to have a hard time reading you

 

I don't like how Sooh hasn't really been trying that hard to fight her wagon and her reads don't make sense to me from a town PoV.  I still don't like some of the votes on Sooh, but those could easily be bus votes.

@AJ  re my gut reads. That's good thinking as that's standard Dice D1. What you might wanna consider is those snap reads. Things like jumping on you for one word. THOSE you might wana consider.

 

 

@cory  I know you asked AJ  but what I expect from Town Cory is you building a town core you feel you can rely on. You do it in an actibve way. I realise you are trying to sit back a bit and change your style but it means I lose the thing I could most easily use to read you.

No, I don't want to whine about your lack of effort.  But I am going to act on you seemingly caring enough to ATTEMPT following along - because that's the impression I get when somebody makes a post about having read half the thread - and not seeming to be care about solving it.

 

If you have a serious reason not to contribute (and for the record, I fully believe your post here...I don't think for a second you would make this post if it weren't 100% serious), then don't.  Don't read along.  Don't push people.  Make a post saying "Hey guys, I'm going to ignore the thread entirely for the next week" or sub out.  

 

Or don't.  I'm not going to tell you what to do.  But I have a game to solve, and you're in the way.  If you think I'm going to write you off because you say you're not going to be around, you're mistaken.

The problem is the null pile is still somewhere on your reads list. I have that problem a lot where I have ~6 or 7 village reads and most of the people in the null list are ~low content players. Just something I see a lot in general playing this game for so long.

 

Do you remember that time I lynched Shiro on a whim based on like 2-3 posts he made and how much people fought it? It turns out people not participating can still be wolves, and as a rule of thumb are less dangerous lose than active, game-solving villagers you big game hunt.

 

That's just my take, so I at least understand what Clov is getting at.

I will form a read based on one post if it sticks out enough.  Doesn't mean I'm not open to changing it.
