I have an array of abilities which I can use at night, the first night I used a 2x scanning power on Thane and Krak, which is why I am defending them.

 

I can also do a 2x protect power, which I can use, or a 2x roleblock power. At the end of using those on three nights, I can return to using the scan, or any power that I did not use the previous night.

 

I do not have a red scan on Verbal, to be honest. I was saying that I did for reactions.

 

If I said that I did have a red scan on Verbal, I could get him lynched today, and people would follow me. Sorry, I don't, and if I were to try to be a hero and get Verbal lynched based on such a lie, and he were to be a villager, I'd have to be the lynch the next day.

 

There were better choices for the gladiator challenge, but I understand using it against someone on your own wagon.

Due to my claim, there will be a number of guilty people who end up voting for me today to save Verbal.

 

Especially if I were to be protected at night by a doctor, I will pose a significant threat to all scums in the game.

 

That all being said, people rely too much on village power role claims- if you make the lynch competitive and I do swing, it will be more informative than a scanning power ever would be.

 

If this can be corroborated somehow, I'll vote myself in this glad challenge and know that it was a pro-town move.

 

That said, I'm having trouble believing such a role is in this game.  It seems a little.....much.

Again, this goes to my theory on village powers- we rely on them too much. I want to see the vote record.

 

Use the vote record, don't just lynch based on claims. Anyone can fake a claim. I could be faking my claim, I could be vanilla townie.

I am unable to read you as a player because I've never played with you before and I didn't read much of you in the Champs game.  If I take everything at face value, I'd consider you a good player with an awesome role......and therefore you'd be more valuable to the town in this game.

As a game host, I've hosted some 50 games. Game balance is my bread and butter.

 

If I were faking this claim, I'd claim once per night since it's more believable- if I'm not faking the claim, then it's because we have a multiball game as you call it and the scums are also "OP".

 

Village needs its powers to combat them. <---- Lie.

 

You just need the vote. That's all you need. But game designers put in such roles for balance because of what village is up against.

JoAT is a fun role to have, simply out of the fact mafia never know what to expect you to do.

Well look at it this way we already had a flipped bullet proof investigative role. It fits imo

 

The thing people are missing is that were're looking for multiple teams of anti-town and even at 2 times a night he only gets 2 views every 3 days, roleblock is a risk, because you could choose poorly and block a useful power.

I wouldn't not use them, I just wouldn't abuse meta or my own personal biases and feelings. I am above all a gentleman and I like giving everyone their fair chance, as it pertains to N1 scans.

 

Random.org is the fairest arbiter, I didn't hit anyone who was guilty, and I'm pleased with that.

 

This claim coming from a scumbag is obviously intended to win the lynch battle between us. But I think even you can tell that I have other motivations.

I'm not going to dive on my sword just yet.  I still have a problem with how you've been generally playing the mediator and helpful buddy role all game.  I can see how somebody with zero meta on most players would do that, but you slapped EP on the wrist for it and then went and painted a caricature of me in much the same way.

 

I know you're saying now that it was a reaction test, but you'll excuse me if I say the "reaction test" is a bit of an overused term.

The peeks make sense looking back at Pizza and how he's handled those players and their interactions. I'm realizing that I have probably been pretty wrong with a several of my reads at this point and I'll need to adjust accordingly.

Yeah, I know.  I'm prepared for that potential.  I'll take another run through Pizza's posts, but I am not getting a good handle due to not knowing him and how he plays.  Like I said, at face value he made sense and I'd choose him between us based on that role and that I can see (assuming he's town) that he won't squander the opportunity.  To be fair & honest, I would not squander the opportunity either, but my role is not the same.....and I frankly think his role would be more useful (understatement, lol).

At this point I don't really know what to believe... Part of me thinks this another v/v situation which means it all sucks. We'll either way lose a power player tomorrow. I can see what Yates is saying when he says regardless their affiliation they can help out hunting the wolves on the other team. 

 

I've thought Verb was if not clear town then at least townish for a while, but this whole last part around EOD has confused me... and pizza... I literally don't know what to believe. I've read a few of his games, and he could literally pull this both as town and mafia... This is going to be a really really difficult vote to cast.
